Within the Whitnash SNT area in the last month we have had two incidences of Criminal Damage at Curran Close and Golf Lane, five thefts from Campion School,Coppice Road, Golf Lane, Heathcote Road and Priam Close, two burglaries in Anderson Drive and Cox's Orchard and also five cases of Theft from Motor Vehicle from Eglamour Way, Home Farm Crescent, Medley Grove, Coppice Road and Woodward Close.

It has been a relatively quiet month in Whitnash with little recorded crime. There have been several incidents in the allotments on Golf Lane, however these were not reported to the Police at the time. Increased patrols have been implemented to attempt to apprehend the offenders. We remind everyone that in order to make an effective investigation we must have the incident reported as soon as possible.

PC Calvert and PCSO Green held an event at the Warwickshire Direct - Whitnash on Saturday 1st March to advertise the use of Smartwater.
This substance is the most effective way of permanently marking your property with your identity so that should it be stolen it can, when recovered, be returned to you with the minimum of delay and fuss.
Warwickshire Police part-subsidise the purchase of Smartwater kits, reducing the cost to only £15 per kit. This includes enough fluid to permanently mark all the valuables found in a standard home. There are also specialist kits available for small and large businesses and farms.

The next PACT meeting will be on the 9th of April 2008 starting at 7pm.
It will be held at the Whitnash Community Centre, Acre Close Recreation Ground.

We at the Whitnash SNT would like to congratulate A/PS Andy Scruton and PC John Calvert for their recent success in the Police Sergeants promotion board. Both of these officers have now completed everything required to become a substansive Sergeant in Warwickshire Police.
