SmartWater, the forensic science backed crime prevention device, is now available at the Whitnash Police Office at the Warwickshire Direct - Whitnash facility.

SmartWater is a UV sensitive chemical substance that contains thousands of uniquely coded microscopic dots. These unique codes are kept on a database by the SmartWater company and assist officers in returning recovered property to their rightful owners. SmartWater is near impossible to remove after it has been applied and it can be applied to nearly any surface, including electricals, jewellery and furniture. It is invisible to the naked eye.

SmartWater kits are available by contacting PCSO 6107 Steve Jephcote at the Whitnash office and for the subsided cost of £15.00 payable by cheque made out to Warwickshire Police.
