Reduce Speeding in the Heathcote Road Area
There has been an increase in the number of speeding motorists along Heathcote Road and the adjoining roads. This has led to pedestrians, cyclists and other motorists feeling unsafe when using the road and pavements.
The Team will be working with the Road Policing Unit and the Leamington South SNT to use speed cameras and mobile road units in the area to combat this. The Safer Neighbourhood Panel has also voted to expend over £3000 on a permanent speed indication sign for installation on Heathcote Road to assist in the fight to reduce speeding in Whitnash. This priority is a new addition as of the 9th of April and will be reassessed at the next PACT meeting.
