Speeding- B4439 Hatton to Hockley Heath
Speeding along the B4439 and in particular through Lapworth along the Old Warwick Road, where the speed limit is 30mph.
Prevention. The speed gun is being used by the team to target known hot spots along the B4439. Both PC's and PCSO's are utilising the speed gun to catch speeding motorist. Tickets are being issued and advice is being given concerning paying more attention to the speed limit and the conditions of the road. The Traffic Department for Warwickshire Police have also been conducting speed checks in the Warwick Rural West area. Communication/Reassurance. Sgt.JOHAL will communicate at the local PACT meetings how many speed checks have been done, the location of the checks and how many tickets/advice has been given to motorists.
