NHW WK Incidents at homes in Eglamour Way, Landor Road, Coppice Road and Brunel Close, Whitnash
Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at homes in your area over recent days.
Incident 74 of 21 April
During the night of 20 into 21 April offenders entered a home in Eglamour Way, Whitnash through and insecure conservatory window and then left themselves into the house with a key that had been left in the door.
Once inside the house, the offenders stole a laptop computer and a handbag.
Incident 412 of 21 April
Between 7.30 and 11pm on 21 April offenders scaled the fence at the rear of a home in Landor Road and then smashed the rear patio doors of the house. Once inside the house, the offenders carried out an untidy search before leaving lights on and taps running which caused internal damage.
Incident 29 of 22 April
Between 7pm in 21 and 1.20am on 22 April offenders attempted to force open the front and rear doors of a home in Coppice Road. Damage was caused to the doors but the offenders failed to get into the house and nothing was stolen.
Incident 102 of 22 April
During the night of 21 into 22 April offenders attempted to enter a home in Brunel Close through a front door. Extensive damage was caused but the offenders failed to get in and nothing was stolen.
Incident 337 of 20 April
Between 8pm on 19 and 8pm on 20 April offenders entered a home in Llewellyn Road after removing a veranda door and then removing a glass panel in the kitchen door of the house.
Once inside, the offenders stole many items including a large quantity of jewellery.
Incident 364 of 25 April
At just before 10pm last night, 25 April, the elderly resident of a home in Landor Road, Whitnash woke up and found a male offender in his bedroom.
The offender asked where the money was kept and the resident refused to tell him. The offender then went downstairs and was followed by the resident who went to neighbours house to raise the alarm.
The offenders had entered the house after smashing a double glazed window with a glass hammer. Quantities of cash in both dollars and sterling were stolen.
Please remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and please report anything of concern to Police on 101.
