Rogue traders will often over charge for work that is of a very poor quality and can be very intimidating when it comes to obtaining their payment.

Most rogue traders will visit an area and leave advertising leaflets. These are easily spotted, as they will rarely have a landline telephone number or a contact address.

We are looking to target such people at the end of the month and would like your help to gather intelligence on possible rogue traders in your area.

If you suspect that you have rogue traders in your street make a note of the persons involved, the type of trade and any vehicle registration numbers, as this may prove useful in identifying them. Any leaflet through your door, which appear to come from such traders please retain it and report it to your local Police Crime Reduction Officers, intelligence department or trading standards. You can rely to this message via email.
