NHW WK Beware of bogus Severn Trent workers in Leamington area INC 163 of 6 August
Leamington to police would like to make you aware that a Severn Trent worker was in the area of The Maltings, Leamington at 7.45am yesterday morning when he came across a male posing as a Severn Trent employee.
The bogus employee was wearing pin striped trousers and quickly got into a blue BMW H105 JK? before he was confronted.
Please be very wary of answering your door to anyone you do not know or are not expecting. Please use a door chain if you have one and ask for identification to be given to you to examine.
If in any doubt please contact the organisation that the person is representing, using a number from the telephone book and check that they do have staff in your area and please contact police immediately if you suspect that the caller is bogus. Thankyou.
