NHW WK Increase in thefts from cars in Whitnash and South Leamington - lock up your vehicles
Please can we make you aware that there has been a recent increase in the thefts of sat navs, sunglasses and other items from vehicles parked in the Whitnash area, particularly around Montgomery Road nad Gardner Crescent.
Please can you ensure that you remove all valuables from your vehicles when leaving then overnight or unattended. Please also double check that all windows are closed, doors are locked and that your alarm is set if you have one.
Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious characters hanging around vehicles in your area. The suspect seen in Montgomery Road is described as a white foreign male of slim build. he was around 6ft tall with short browm hair and was wearing a blue anorak with a hooded top underneath and he may be sleeping rough.
Follow your gut instinct. If something looks suspicious or out of place to you, it probably is so please contact your local police as soon as you can to report what you have seen. Thankyou.
