NHW WK Robbery at Londis Store in Tachbrook Road, Leamington INC 486 of 1 September
Police investigating an incident in a Leamington store are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At about 6.25pm yesterday evening, 1 September, a male went into the Londis store in Tachbrook Road and removed four bottles of spirits, valued at approximately £74.
As he made his way out of the store with the bottles a female who was with him prevented the shop assistant from closing the door.
A scuffle ensued in which the shop assistant was grabbed and pushed and the male offender dropped one of the bottles.
He then made off with another person towards the town centre.
The male was wearing a dark blue tracksuit with the hood up, a silver necklace and a black T shirt with red writing on it. The female was wearing a grey and white top, black bottoms and white trainers.
PC Jonathan Belcher at Leamington Police Station would like to hear from anyone who was in the store last night and witnessed the incident or saw the offenders as they made off. Please quote incident number 486 of 1 September when calling. Thankyou.
