Operation Guardian
Targeting young people with alcohol in a public place. A wasted night leaflet is handed to each young person found in the possession of or under the influence of alcohol. Advice would be given, alcohol would be confiscated and parents or guardians contacted.

The Operation has so far been most successful with alcohol placed in our Detained Property System being forwarded to Charity.
The response from parents and guardians has been positive. There has been a noticeable reduction in the amount of young persons found under the influence of alcohol. Making our parks and public areas more desirable, quieter and cleaner.
