Witness Appeal -: Road Traffic Collision Farmer Ward Road
Police in Kenilworth are appealing for witnesses to come forward in relation to a road Traffic Collision that occurred on Farmer Ward Road Kenilworth. At about 1600 hours on Friday 18th July 2008 two twelve year old boys were near to the Junction of Thornby Avenue, Farmer Ward Road junction. A vehicle at this junction pulls out of Thornby Avenue and on joining Farmer Ward Road collides with one of the boys, who had just started to cross the road. The driver of the vehicle stops and speaks to the boy and on no injuries been disclosed drives off from the scene. The emergency services were not contacted at the time, however some time later the boy complained of pains to his head and knee, police were then contacted and the boy seeked hospital treatment at Warwick A & E. The vehicle involved in this collision is described as "Ginger" in colour.
Police are keen to speak to any witnesses who saw this collision occur, and would urge the owner / driver of the car to come forward and speak to officers at Kenilworth Police Station.
