Vehicle seized after driving erratically.
These powers allow Police Officers to seize vehicles from those who drive without due care and in an anti-social manner, who having been warned continue to drive in such a way up to 12 months after the previous warning.
Police Officers attended and after further information supporting the fact the driver had been driving erratically on this occasion, the vehicle was seized and recovered.
The owner will have to pay around £125 for the vehicle to be released, plus an additional £15 per day it is kept stored.
PC Valente from the Leamington North Team said, "These powers allow us to take positive action against those who drive inappropriately. Although the owners can get their vehicles back, it will have cost them money and inconvenienced them too."
