The methods that people use to steal electricity are more often than not a real danger to LIFE and PROPERTY and any properties identified will face joint action by all the agencies involved.

*Central Networks will seize meters and at times completely disconnect the electricity Supply.

*The Housing department or Landlord will take action against any tenants as this is a serious breach of tenancy agreements putting the property and possibly the lives of others at risk.

*Abstracting/Stealing Electricity is a criminal offence which the Police may investigate and prosecute those stealing electricity and offenders can be imprisoned.
