NHW SA Incidents in Wootton Wawen, Tanworth in Arden & Earlswood. Lookout for van with reg similar to Y943 ???

Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at homes in villages in your area over recent days. This message has been sent to a wider group of Watch members than usual because of the information relating to a vehicle seen at a burglary in Wootton Wawen.

Incident 136 of 20 February
At just after 1pm yesterday afternoon, 20 February, a neighbour at a home in Pettiford Lane, Wootton Wawen drove past a detached house and heard the noise of the intruder alarm sounding. The neighbour turned around and parked behind a van which was next to the property and the van quickly made off.

The van registration was very similar to Y943 WO? and is known to be connected to a Birmingham burglar.

If you spot this vehicle in your area please contact Police on 999 immediately.

Incident 166 of 20 February
At just after 2.30pm also yesterday, the resident of a cottage home in Poolhead Lane, Tanworth in Arden disturbed a burglary at his property. The male offender made off over the golf course and is described as a white male, wearing a blue woollen hat and jeans. he was around 5ft 8 inches tall.

Incident 304 of 10 February
At just after 7pm on 10 February offenders damaged the gates of a cottage home in Foreshaw Heath Road, Earlswood, possibly as a result of a ram raid attempt as there were high powered vehicles in front of the house.

A white tipper van was seen in the area at around the time of the incident and this may be connected.
