Sergeant 0681 Barrie ARCHER

Sgt Barrie Archer returns to Stratford after completing a two year tenure at Leamington Spa Custody. He has previously been a Reactive Sgt at Stratford Upon Avon and a Community Beat Officer at Shipston on Stour. Sgt Archer will be covering the absence of Sgt Lucy Sewell whilst she is acting Inspector at Alcester. Sgt Archer is happy to be back working at Stratford, spending the majority of his spare time serving with 67 (QOWWY) Signal Squadron. Stratford's own Territorial Army Unit. He looks forward to working with the community and our partners, in making Stratford a safer place to be

Sergeant 0681 Barrie ARCHER

Sergeant 0361 Lucy Sewell

Sgt Sewell is currently seconded to Alcester and it is anticipated she will be back at the end of April 2008. In the mean time PS 681 Barrie ARCHER is the Town SNT Sergeant. Sgt Sewell has been a police officer since March 1993, starting at Nuneaton as a response officer. Since 1998 Sgt Sewell has worked at Stratford Police Station, firstly as a response officer, then an 18 month period as a force trainer, 6 months as a Community Police Officer at Shipston on Stour. On promotion to Sergeant in 2004 was the Southern Areas Resource Sergeant. In March 2006 Sgt Sewell joined the Stratford Town Area Safer Neighbourhood Team. Sgt Sewell said "My role as Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant is the best job to date in my career, I have a great team, work with good partners in the Town area, who all have the same goal "working together to protect our community". In Sgt Sewell's spare time she is a Captain in the Territorial Army, enjoys walking, cycling, skiing and holidays.

Police Community Support Officer 6164 Matt Kilbane-Hodgetts

Matt joined the Stratford Town Team in 2007. Matt's area of responsibility is the Town Centre. Matts back ground is in computing, so swapping the office environment for the outdoor is refreshing. Matt is working with local retailers to improve the communication between police, CCTV, Town Partnership and the retailers themselves.

Sarah joined the safer neighbourhood team in December 2006. Prior to joining Warwickshire Police Sarah has worked a technical drawer and in the security industry, holding the SIA accreditation. Sarah is looking forward to getting to know the community and working towards the quality of life issues that effect people living, working and visiting Stratford. Sarah is currently working on setting up a Taxi Watch scheme in the Stratford Town to provide that valuable link and for prevention and detection of crime.

Sam is back on the team after a 6 month secondment to Warwick District. Sam is working with PC 1672 Davies. Prior to working for Warwickshire Police Sam has had various jobs, including a manager at Land Rover, a DJ and is also SIA (Security Industry Authority) qualified and has worked at various pubs and clubs. Sam is glad to be back at Stratford and looks forward to getting to know her local community.

Police Constable 1782 Katie Greenhalgh

Mount Pleasant, Guild & Hathaway Safer Neighbourhood Officer. Katie joins the team after serving in the police for two and a half years, gaining her policing experience as a reactive officer with Stratford Upon Avon. Katie is a resident of Stratford and is keen to work with the community in partnership to tackle their issues. PC Greenhalgh will be with the team until at least the end of the year and has already made strong connections with the community which she serves. On her appointment Katie said, "I am delighted to be joining the Safer Neighbourhood Team as I see it as an important role to work with the community, helping to make Stratford a safer place to live, work and visit. As a local resident the issues of the community are important to me not only as a police officer but as a member of my local community." Outside of work Katie enjoys skiing and pilates.

Joey has been with the Town Team since September 2007 having transfered across from the Shipston. Joey is allocated to the Shottery Ward. Joey has previously worked in retail in Stratford town. He enjoys working with local children in schools.

Police Constable 658 Harvey Whitehouse

Mount Pleasant, Guild & Hathaway Safer Neighbourhood Officer PC 658 Harvey Whitehouse is local to Stratford upon Avon and has been a Warwickshire Officer for some 18yrs with the majority of his service in Stratford. Harvey offers a wealth of experience as a community based officer and is a firm believer in engagement with the community and for the community to prioritise their needs to Police with partnership working in the forefront of this role. Harvey works closely with the mental health services and offers surgery visits on a one to one basis to anyone wishing to discuss social issues or concerns. Harvey is currently away from the office due to illness his duties are being covered by the remainder of the team.

Alveston Safer Neighbourhood Officer I joined the police in 1997 after 24 year in neumatic engineering and also managed to find time to be a part time fire fiighter in Shipston for 11 years. I helped run a local Shipston Youth Club for many years and later joined Warwickshire Police as a Police Special, I was a special for 11 years. I have PCSO Connor and Tolman supporting me on my ward. The Ward is very transient in the summer months with the Holiday Parks off Tiddington Road and Old Warwick Road. I want to make my Ward a safe place to live and in particular deliverying a quality of service together with my two PCSOs. I enjoy interacting with the young people on my Ward and will work with the community to solve areas of concern. I have a special interest in Wildlife Law and I am a trained Counter Terrorism Search Officer. In my spare time I have several small animals that need looking after, I enjoy photography, DIY and running. Trevor is currently away from the office due to illness his duties are being covered by the remainder of the team.

Stratford on Avon Town Centre Officer Stuart has been a police officer at Stratford on Avon for 6 years. Prior to joining the police Stuart worked in the security and retail industry. Stuart has been a Town Centre officer for 3 years and has made many strong links with the community and is a familiar face in the town, and in more recent times is seen riding his Police Mountain Bike. Stuart completed the London Marathon in 2007 and is hoping to complete the Marathon again in 2008 in aid of the charity, British Heart Foundation.

Stratford on Avon Town Centre Officer. Paul has been on the Team for 4 years. He started on the Clopton Beat and since March 2006 has worked on the town centre. PC Hammond is a qualified PSU and method of entry officer. Paul spends alot of his spare time watching and playing football.

I joined Warwickshire Police in 2005. Atfer a spell in Nuneaton I moved to Stratford where I have settled into the team. Prior to working in Warwickshire I had a range of jobs from driving to computers. I work alongside PCSO Matt Hodgetts, PC Stuart Mucklow nd PC Paul Hammond on the Stratford Town Centre. I manage the BARDwatch portfolio and work closely with the local pubs and clubs ensuring they are aware of who is banned from their establishments. When I'm not at work I enjoy playing sports such as football.

Joined Warwickshire Police as a PSCO in November 2003 working from Rugby. In March 2004 I moved to Stratford and worked the Town Centre and Clopton beats and have done so since. Prior to joining Warwickshire as a PSCO, I worked at Kineton as a Military Guard Officer for 15 months. My main area of knowldedge is farming. I worked on a farm in Hampton on the Hill (2 miles outside Warwick) as a Head Shepherd / Head Tractor Driver for 40 years. During this time (1979 - 2000) I was also a Special Constable stationed at Warwick. I am proud of the fact that I achieved a long service award and a commendation for the arrest of 3 Burglars. In my spare time I enjoy playing the guitar, as a result of this I became a member of the 'Shadows Guitar Club'.

Police Community Support Officer 6079 Kate Connor

Kate has been a PCSO for two years, and in this short time has built up some strong relationships with her community. Kate doesn't cover any specific wards, but will patrol the areas that are highlighted as needing attention. Kate enjoys working with young people and those with mental health problems. Kate has assisted the team on many occasions in locating offenders in and around the town, Kate certainly is the "eyes and ears" of the community. Kate patrols the various Wards on foot and Mountain Bike. Kate enjoys running and the times when she gets some peace and quiet at home.

Police Constable 1672 Rob Davies

Rob joined Warwickshire police in September 2004. He spent 3 years as a response officer at Stratford on Avon. Rob joined the Stratford Town SNT in June 2007 with the responsibility of Avenue & Newtown Ward. Rob works alongside PCSO Sam RUSTON. Rob enjoys connecting with his community and looking at the short and long term concerns of those on his wards. Rob is working with partners in protecting the community in attempt to reduce public fears. In Rob's spare time he enjoys socialising, squash, swimming and rugby.
