VIOLENCE
On 3rd MARCH 2008 STRATFORD LEISURE CENTRE a male was approached at 1100hrs and punched in the face and received a broken jaw.
On 8th MARCH 2008 LONGFELLOW ROAD a taxi driver dropped of 4 people who got out from this vehicle, kicked it and refused to pay the fare.
BURGLARY
On the 25th FEBRUARY 2008 ST MARY`S ROAD offenders have gained access via the back kitchen window which has been forced. They have carried out an untidy search of the property and removed a number of electrical items. Offenders left via the front patio doors.
On the 1st MARCH 2008 GLEBE ROAD a male was seen at the back kitchen door of a property and was trying to gain access. The bottom panel was removed. A male was seen climbing over the fence by the shed.
On the 29th FEBRUARY 2008 CURRYS LTD reported a metal shipping container to the rear of the premises had a padlock cut off between 25/02 1615hrs and 28/02 1015hrs. Unknown offenders have entered the container and stolen STEEL ROLLER SHUTTERS.

THEFT
On the 3rd MARCH 2008 BUTTERFLY FARM a bicycle was stolen from the rear shed of the premises. It was left at 0900hrs, was checked on at 1345hrs but by 1700hrs had gone. The bicycle was a medium blue trek 1200 and has black rims
DRUGS
On 6th MARCH WEST GREEN DRIVE a large quantity of cannabis plants were seized from a property.
On 27th FEBRUARY 2008 JOSEPHS WAY a male was found in possession of cannabis and was given a street caution.

CHANGE AT THE HELM
Sgt SEWELL has been posted temporarily to Alcester as acting Inspector. Whilst Sgt Sewell is at Alcester, Sgt Barrie ARCHER has been seconded to the Town SNT. Sgt ARCHER has just finished 24 months as Custody Sergeant at Leamington and has previously been a response officer at Stratford. Sgt Archer said "it is great to be back working in the town, I look forward to working with the local community and partners to solve problems, both long & short". It is anticipated that Sgt Sewell will return late April/early May.
