Team leaders
Joined Warwickshire Police in 1993. Based at Leamington Spa Police Station for many years. Worked in the community as a Community Beat Officer and Beat Manager. Training/teaching qualifications and a Degree in Education. Worked at Police National Training College (CENTREX) as a Law trainer teaching probationer constables. Previously worked as a reactive patrol sergeant in Leamington Spa and was appointed as the Southam SNT sergeant in October 06.
Team members
Police Community Support Officer Reading joined the Southam Neighbourhood Team in March 2005. She is passionate about trying to make a difference within the local community. Prior to joining Warwickshire Police as a PCSO, she enjoyed working with children, teenagers, senior citizens and those with special needs. Whilst working in Southam she has forged strong links with the community and draws upon her previous skills when faced with challenges on a daily basis.
Prior to joining warwickshire Police as a police Community Support officer, PCSO Taylor worked in administration for an international mobile phone network. PCSO Taylor has enjoyed being involved with various charities, supporting Multiple Sclerosis, Leukemia research and the Katherine House Hospice. She very much enjoys community relations and the pratical side of working with the public. In PCSO Taylor's spare time she enjoys painting landscapes with oil paints on canvas.
Alison joined Warwickshire Police in 1987 and has spent the majority of her career working as a community Police officer. During this time she has worked in the South of the county having being the local officer in Wellesbourne for several years. Alison is the newest member of the Safer Neighbourhood Team having already worked in Southam as a reactive officer for the last three years. Alison is a mother of four children and is local to the area and understands the needs and problems associated with the rural community.
PC Nigel Hill joined Warwickshire Police in 1980. He is a highly respected experienced member of the Southam Safer Neighbourhood Team, joining Southam SNT in August 2000. He has a wealth of knowledge having worked in numerous departments and the following stations in Warwickshire: Kenilworth, Warwick, Wolston and Rugby. PC Hill has served the rural community for the majority of his service and has a great deal of knowledge in relation to rural Warwickshire and countryside issues. His hobbies of farming and country sports, reflect his chosen profession.
PC Rod Joy is an ex-Royal Navy Submariner who has lived in the area all his life. Previously worked in Leamington Spa as reactive officer and Community Beat Officer for Whitnash. He joined the Safer Neighbourhood team at Southam in August 2006, having worked as a reactive officer in the Southam area since May 2004. He has a good knowledge of the local area and understands the needs of rural communities. A keen sportsman who gained national honors at rugby during his formative years and still enjoys the occasional game.
Antonie is based at Barnhill Services, M40. The second PCSO to be sponsored by Welcome Break.
