Driver Involved In RTC In Ash Green In March Dies

The driver of a yellow Daewoo Matiz that was involved in a road collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa outside the Haven Nursing Home on New Road, Ash Green at 8am on Monday 5 March 2012, has died in hospital.
Mr Eugene Collins, 86 years from Foxwood Crescent, Coventry, had been taken to the University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire with serious injuries to his neck.
He died in hospital on Friday 20 April, following complications caused as a result of the injuries sustained in the collision.
Police are still appealing for witnesses to the collision and ask that anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision taking place on Monday 5 March is asked to contact PC Andrew Wilson on 01926 415415.
