Can you help identify vehicle thieves?

Incident 38 of 11 January

Police are appealing for witnesses who can help identify the offenders who stole a red and grey Daihatsu Fourtrak estate from a layby outside a house in Rumer Close, Long Marston on Sunday night.

Officers believe the theft occurred sometime between 3pm on Sunday 10 January and 3am on Monday 11 January when house to house enquiries revealed a neighbour had noticed it was missing.

The vehicle was later found abandoned with slight damage in fields off Arrow Lane, North Littleton in Evesham and will be returned to its owner.

Police are asking the public to help them identify who stole this vehicle. If you saw anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles in Long Marston on Sunday night, please contact officers as soon as possible on 01926 415000 quoting incident 38 of 11 January.

Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who saw a red Vauxhall Corsa being abandoned in Welford Road. The vehicle was reported to police at 10am on Sunday 11 January and was later found to have been stolen from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.
