Serious collision in Shotteswell - police appeal for witnesses

Police are investigating a collision in Shotteswell in which a woman suffered head injuries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The collision occurred at about 18.17hrs on the B4100 and involved a silver Skoda Roomster and a silver Mini Cooper.
The 60 year old female driver of the Mini suffered head injuries and cuts. She was taken to the Horton General Hospital at Banbury where she was detained overnight for treatment.
The 64 year old male driver of the Skoda suffered bruising but did not require hospital treatment. The Skoda was burned out.
Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw either of the vehicles before the collision occurred.
