Inc: 380 of January 28 2010

Police at Alcester would like to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity occurring in Bleachfield Street yesterday or who may have been offered silver items for sale cheaply.

The appeal follows the report of a burglary between 5 pm and 10.20 pm yesterday at the home of an 80 year old man in Bleachfield Street.

The victim was very distressed when he returned home to discover that he had been burgled. The items were stolen following a very untidy search of his house.

Anyone who can help police with their investigations, should please call Alcester police station on 01926 415000.

Information can also be passed on to police anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
