Between the hours of 1900 & 23.30 25/7/2008, a Silver Vauxhall Minerva parked in St.Peters Rd, Wellesbourne had it's rear windscreen smashed by unknown offender/s. Incident number: 20080725-0811 Crime number: S/08/9668
Between the hours of 1800 25/7/2008 & 0015 26/7/2008, a vehicle parked in Warwick Rd, Kinetonhas it's rear windscreen smashed by unknown offender/s. Incident number: 20080726-0030 Crime number: S/08/9670

Burglary (Dwelling)
Between the hours 1130 & 1330 26/7/2008, offender/s have entered a property on Banbury Rd, Kineton by smashing a side window of the property.Offender/s have then removed a number of items including jewlery and a camcorder. Incident number: 20080726-0429 Crime number: S/08/9935
Between the hours of 0115 & 0400 27/7/2008, offender/s have entered a unit on Wellesbourne Distribution Park and stolen 2x 40" SAMSUNG LCD televisions and DELL Desk top tower. Incident number: 20080728-0078 Crime number: S/08/10129

Theft from motor vehicle
Between the hours of 0115 & 0840 29/7/2008, a vehicle parked in the driveway of a property in Warwick Rd, Wellesbourne had it's side window smashed with a broken slab and a Sat Nav removed from the vehicle. A suspect was seen running away from the scene. Incident number: 20080729-0144

Theft Of Vehicle
At around 2320hrs on 29/7/2008, a Silver Tailor parked in the driveway of a property in Mollington Lane, Warmington was stolen by unknown offender/s. VRM - YB57 HWZ Incident number: 20080729-0727 Crime number: S/08/10247

Warrants and Arrests lead to large drugs find.........
Warrants and Arrests lead to large drugs find......... Last week 21st July 08 onwards, four people were arrested during the week involving different incidents relating to drugs. The team were involved in an eviction involving Orbit Heart of England housing. During the eviction a quantity of cannabis, cannabis plants and Class A drug were recovered. Two persons remain on Police bail in relation to these offences. Later that week, the team were also involved in the execution of two drugs warrants within the Safer Neighbourhood area, resulting in a quantity of Class A drugs being recovered including tablets. These persons also remain on Police bail pending an investigation and forensic results. A/PS 541 Chris Cuthbertson and Pc 1847 Comyns will be carrying out the investigation, reducing the amount of drugs within our safer neighbourhood team area.

Counterfeit crackdown - Goods seized.......
Counterfeit crackdown - Goods seized....... On Saturday morning 2nd August 2008 A/PS Cuthbertson, PC Comyns, PCSO Canning, SO Johnson and Sc Houghton form the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood team attended Wellesbourne Market in partnership with Warwickshire Trading Standards officers. This operation took place following numerous complaints of Underage sales of Cigarettes, Knives, BB guns and the sale of counterfeit goods. The sale and possession of counterfeit goods is a criminal offence for which the Trading Standards can seize these items. During this operation Trading Standards utilised covert officers and Brand holders to identify counterfeit goods, illegal sales of knives and BB guns. As a result two men were arrested and are currently on bail, with a total of just over 1,000 items of suspected counterfeit clothing were seized from a stall and vehicle connected to the stall. The estimated value of these items is between £30,000-50,000. A/PS Cuthbertson said " This is an excellent example of our team working with partners to protect our community and visitors to Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood team from harm. We will be continuing to carry out further operations with Warwickshire Trading Standards in the future to ensure that traders are selling genuine items."

Theft
Between the hours of 2000 04/08/2008 & 0345 05/08/2008, offender/s have entered a property in Elliott Dr, Wellesbourne and taken unknown amounts of wood from the back garden ans also taken 4 terocotta plant pots. Incident number: 20080805/0164 Crime number: S/08/10574
Between Sunday 3rd August & Thursday 7th August 2008, unknown offender/s have cut the exit pipe of a plastic oil tank and syphoned 1/3 of the 2500L from St Peter's Church, Kineton. The tank is surrounded by a wooden fence, so offender/s would have to climb over the fence to gain entry. Incident number: 20080807-0119 Crime number: S/08/10657

SPEEDING identified as an issue, particularly for Leam, Road, Lighthorne Heath, accross Wellesbourne, and Banbury Street, Kineton
Actions to be taken: Enforcement checks to be carried out. Partners to work together ref advice and long term solution. Ongoing work by both Traffic Police and local Team in this area. Partnership work has been conducted with Warwickshire County Council with regards to enforcement.

UPDATED: ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR (ASB)
Anti-social behaviour identified as an issue for the village of Lighthorne Heath.
Actions to be taken: Area to receive increased High Visibility Patrols, residents encouraged to report incidents, partner agencies to be used with regards to enforcement/prevention High Visibility patrols are being conducted in Lighthorne Heath. The Village is receiving Mobile Police Station visits Daily, operated by atleast one member of the Safer-Neighbourhoods Team

Anti-social Behaviour Identified as an issue, particularly for the villages for the Kineton locality
Actions to be taken: High Visibility Patrols to be Conducted, Operation Shenley to focus on issue, Partners to work together using previously tested successful means to help alleviate the problem Operation Shenley Co-ordinating directed Patrols within the area with positive affect. Work ongoing by local Safer Neighbourhood Team
