Join Wellesbourne Farm Watch
It's an opportunity for the farmers of the rural areas to work in partnership with the police to help combat rural crime.
How does it work?
Farmers who are part of the scheme are requested to e-mail any suspicious activity/vehicles/persons and any other relevant information to the e-mail address below. Your e-mail will go straight to the local Safer Neighbourhood team who will carry out preliminary checks and collate the information along with any other Police help intelligence. If appropriate the information is then distributed to all the farms that are part of the scheme.
What benefits are there in being part of the scheme?
By the sharing of information it will enable your local Police Officer to build a picture of criminal activity in the area and assist in deterring crime. Where suspects have been identified as targeting the area, members of the scheme can be made aware and therefore help the local police in tracing them.
This scheme is now available to working farms within the Stratford Rural Policing District who have Internet access and an e-mail address.
