Between the hours of 0900 & 1230 on 22/08/2008, a unsecure property in St, Peters Road, Kineton was entered by unknown offender/s and a Flat Screen Techno televison and money were taken. Incident number: 20080822-0256 Crime number: S/08/011340

Between the hours of 1900 22/08/2008 & 0800 27/08/2008, unknown offender/s have snapped a 6ft sappling tree in half. The tree was planted outside Hastings House, Kineton Rd, Wellesbourne in memory of the late Dr David RIVERS. Incident number: 20080829-0356 Crime number: S/08/11671
Approx 1715hrs on 28/08/2008, unknown offender/s have thrown a missile from the A429 underpass in Wellesbourne at a passing coach. The missile has smashed an off side window. 6 or 7 youths were seen running from the scene. Incident number: 20080828/0463 Crime number: S/08/11627

Between the hours of 1700 20/08/2008 & 1800 21/08/2008, a property in Hampton Lucy was entered by offenders and over Ten Thousand Pounds worth of damage has occured. This includes 31 bags of firtilizer being slashed, leaving it unusable. One youth was identified by the farmer as a local youth to Wellesbourne, and is currentley undergoing interview with local officers.
Shop Lifter Caught
A local youth caught shoplifting in the Wellesbourne area has been processed through the system, and has received and official Police Reprimand.
Community Forum Held in Wellesbourne for entire Safer-Neighbourhood Area
On 4th September 2008, the Wellesbourne Safer-Neighbourhood team engaged with the public at the police surgery, held at the Horticultural Research Institute, Wellesbourne. A/PS Cuthbertson, PCSO Suddaby, and PCSO Smith listened as residents and representatives from local areas expressed their opinions, thoughts, and concerns to Police. These ideas were discussed and then taken forward to the Community Forum which immediately followed the surgery.
The Community Forum was chaired by Cllr David CLOSE, and had representatives from Police, District and County Councils, and was attended by Youth Workers, a representative from Orbit Housing Association, Neighbourhood watch co-ordinators and local residents. Many items of the meeting were discussed, and included a presentation from the Wellesbourne SNT Team The Community Forum Process is in its infancy in the Wellesbourne Area, however following both Meetings; and the feedback received, the following priorities have been established for the Wellesbourne Area SPEEDING - Particularly Wolverton, Charlecote, Kineton VISIBILITY - Particularly Kineton ANTI - SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR - Particularly Wellesbourne and Kineton
