On Monday 28th September 2008, PCSO Michelle Suddaby went to Moreton Morrell Primary School to visit the new Reception class. Invited by Hilary Thomas, Michelle attended to talk to the class about, People Who Help Us & HATS...part of their new learning skills. Including her own PCSO hat she took a police bike helmet and a custodian helmet - which all the children enjoyed wearing!! Between the hours of 1200 & 0820 03/10/2008, a property in Hunscote was entered by unknown offenders. A downstairs window was forced and an unknown amount of money was taken. Incident number: 20081003-0093 S/08/13313

Between 22/09/2008 & 8.30 23/09/2008, unknown offender/s have entered the site of Severn Trent Water, Wellesbourne and stolen a Steel Shoot, (value £2000) Incident number: 20080923-0173.

The death of a child is horrific, whatever the circumstances, but the unnecessary death of a child, even more so.

Children have reported that they are unhappy that they have to walk in the road when people are parked on the yellow zig zags outside the school.

The yellow zig zags are there to protect the children from possible traffic dangers outside the front of school, and to create an area of high visibility for other road users as the children leave the school site. Parents are requested and reminded to park away from the yellow markings, the white prohibited line and the junction for their own child's safety. We do not want your child to be hurt.

Between the hours of 2215 18/09/2008 & 1700 19/09/2008, a Silver Gents Mountain Bike - 28" Frame with childs seat fiited to the rear was stolen from the front garden of a property in Church Ln, Snitterfield. Incident number: 20080919-0459 Crime number: S/08/12687

On the evening of 19/09/2008, police were called to assist the fire service at the scene of an arson in Wellesbourne Village.

A park bench near to the White Bridge over the river Dene was deliberately burnt in a malicious attack.

During routine enquiries on 24/09/08 PC Comyns noticed a significant quantity of cannabis plants (approximately £1000 street value) from an isolated location growing freely in a skip in the Wellesbourne area. These plants have now been recovered and are awaiting destruction.

Between the hours of 1030 & 1610 on 29/09/2008, a vehicle parked in Lowes Lane, Wellesbourne had the front & rear number plates stolen by unknown offender/s. Incident number: 20080928-0423 Crime number: S/08/13085.
