Burglary other
Between 1900hrs. 10.01.08 and 0800hrs, 11.01.08, entry was gained to premises situated some quarter mile off the Fosseway at Moreton Morrell. It is believed a vehicle was used by the offenders and left at the entrance to the driveway which is secured by locked gates. The offenders then made their way on foot, along the driveway to an office area where a ground floor window was forced. Keys were removed from the office and used to enter a separate store from where they have taken a number of chainsaws and wellington boots. A further door within the store was forced and access gained to more chainsaws which were also stolen. A wheelbarrow is then believed to have been used to convey the stolen items back to the waiting vehicle. (incident number 126/11.01.08.)

At around 0300hrs. 14.01.08, a resident of Lighthorne Heath witnessed two males, dressed in black, and carrying large white bags, running away from the Post Office in Leam Road. It was then discovered that the premises had been entered by removing a 4' x 4' window. The two offenders can only be described as late teens, fairly tall and of thin build, both wearing hooded tops. Believed to have made their way to a waiting vehicle in a lay-by on Leam Road, Lighthorne Heath. Cigarettes and parcels had been stolen. (incident number 46/14.01.08.)

At around midday on 17.01.08, a male person was found on school premises in Mountford Close, Wellesbourne. When approached by the caretaker he apologised, stated he was looking for the High School, and then left. Shortly afterwards it was found that a purse belonging to a member of staff was missing from one of the classrooms. The member of staff was later contacted by an unknown male purporting to be from her Building Society security team and asking for details of her card to be confirmed. The male is described as white, approx. 5' 8" tall, medium build, short dark hair, pock-marked skin, possibly a slight Irish accent, wearing a dark suit. (incident number 258/17.01.08.)
Just after 0400hrs. 18.01.08, the alarm was activated at the Kineton Sports & Social Club where it was found that access had been gained to the club via the snooker room window. Entrance was also gained to the bar area from where cash was stolen. An unsuccessful attempt had also been made to force open the till and the spirit cabinet. (incident number 65/18.01.08.)

Between 2145hrs. 20.01.08 and 0345hrs. 21.01.08, access was gained to commercial premises on Banbury Road, Lighthorne. A caravan on the site was entered and a JVC camcorder and a 14" LCD TV stolen. Vehicles on site were also drained of diesel fuel, approx. 90 gallons in total being removed. It is believed a JCB from an adjoining business premises was used to transport the stolen property to a vehicle being used by the offenders. (incident number 74/21.01.08.)

The adjoining business premises to the above was entered over the same time period and approx. 20 gallons of diesel fuel drained from a vehicle on site. The JCB was used to gain entry to the above property. (incident number 107/21.01.08.)

Criminal Damage
At approx. 2200hrs. 11.01.08, four youths, aged approx. 14-15 years of age were seen to enter a front garden in St. Peters Road, Kineton.
Damage was caused to two plastic flower pots before the youths ran off in the direction of (incident number 618/11.01.08.)

Between 0100hrs and 1000hrs, 13.01.08, damage was caused to an MG sports car parked in Mill Crescent, Kineton. Spray paint was used to cause damage to the entire length of both the nearside and offside of the vehicle. (incident number 235/13.01.08.)

Between 2100hrs. 13.01.08 and 0700hrs. 14.01.08, both the front and rear nearside tyres of a Mazda motor vehicle parked in Oaktree Close, Moreton Morrell, were damaged by slashing with a sharp instrument. (incident number 190/14.01.08.)
Between 1800hrs. 13.01.08 and 1100hrs. 15.01.08, a property in Valletta Way, Wellesbourne, suffered damage to a pane of glass in a double glazed unit situated at the front of the premises. Damage is believed to have been caused by a stone being thrown at the window. (incident number 177/15.01.08.)

Bet. 1200hrs. 17.01.08 and 1130hrs. 18.01.08, a Bentley motor vehicle parked at the rear of Staple Hill House, Wellesbourne, was damaged by a scratch mark being caused to the bonnet of the vehicle. (incident number 254/18.01.08.)

Drugs
Two local youths have been given warnings for possession of C class drugs in Charlecote Road, Wellesbourne, at 2200hrs. on 11.01.08.

Burglary Dwelling
Between 1430hrs and 1730hrs, 16.01.08, entry was gained to a detached cottage in the village of Butlers Marston. Unknown offenders forced a front window to the property and stole a quantity of jewellery and silverware. One of the items stolen included a silver dish which is engraved 'Madeline, love from Edward'. A red car was seen in the vicinity at approx. 1645hrs. (incident number 415/16.01.08.)

Theft
Between 1200hrs. 08.01.08 and 1130hrs. 17.01.08, a field adjacent to Charlecote Park, Charlecote, was entered by cutting the chain and padlock securing the field gate. A double axled, metal framed trailer with a wooden base and hitch lock was then removed from the field. The trailer was dark green in colour with a ladder rack on the front. (incident number 281/17.01.08.)

Autocrime
Between 1700hrs. 18.01.08 and 1000hrs, 19.01.08, entry was gained to business premises in Banbury Road, Gaydon, by cutting through a perimeter chain-link fence. Four wheels were stolen from an Aston Martin DB9 motor vehicle. The interior glovebox had also been searched but nothing stolen. (incident number 314/19.01.08.)

Anti-social behaviour identified as an issue for the village of Lighthorne Heath.
Actions to be taken: Area to receive increased High Visibility Patrols, residents encouraged to report incidents, partner agencies to be used with regards to enforcement/prevention High Visibility patrols are being conducted in Lighthorne Heath. The Village is receiving Mobile Police Station visits Daily, operated by atleast one member of the Safer-Neighbourhoods Team

Anti-social Behaviour Identified as an issue, particularly for the villages for the Kineton locality
Actions to be taken: High Visibility Patrols to be Conducted, Operation Shenley to focus on issue, Partners to work together using previously tested successful means to help alleviate the problem Operation Shenley Co-ordinating directed Patrols within the area with positive affect.
