Burglary dwelling
Between 2330hrs. 12.02.08 and 0800hrs. 13.02.08, a detached property in Bristol Way, Wellesbourne, was entered by unknown means, possibly via a faulty door. Unknown offenders used a knife from the kitchen cutlery drawer to cut the flex of a Sony Bravia LCD t.v. before removing it from the living room. An I-Mac computer was also stolen from the dining area. Offenders are believed to have exited the property via the front door, which was left ajar. (incident number 68/13.02.08.)
At approx. 1330hrs. 19.02.08, a detached, isolated property on Kineton Road, Wellesbourne, which is undergoing refurbishment, was entered by smashing a ground floor window. A plumber who was attending the property noticed persons inside and on approaching the building, two males made off, one of them exiting via a window. One of the offenders had a power tool in his hand but threw this back over into the garden. Both males then got into a large white Mercedes van with tinted windows and made off in the direction of Wellesbourne village. A number of tools and other items had been stacked up near to the broken window. (incident number 292/19.02.08.)
Theft
Sometime between 1630hrs. 16.02.08 and 0900hrs. 17.02.08, unknown offenders have entered the front garden of a detached property in the village of Moreton Morrell. A wooden hen house, approx. 4' square and approx. 5' in height was removed from the front lawn, from where it was being temporarily stored. (incident number 220/18.02.08.)
Criminal Damage
Between 1800 and 2000hrs. 08.02.08, unknown offenders entered the driveway of a property in Ettington Close, Wellesbourne and picked up two speakers that had been put out for disposal. The speakers were then used to cause damage to the bonnet and front offside door mirror of a Fiat Punto parked in Ettington Close. (incident number 668/08.02.08.)
Another Fiat Punto has also suffered damage, in the village of Kineton. The vehicle was parked on the driveway of premises in Banbury Road when a house brick was thrown through the rear window sometime between 0020 and 0800hrs. 09.02.08. (incident number 171/09.02.08.)
Between 2200hrs. 11.02.08 and 1100hrs. 12.02.08, unknown persons caused damage to a Mazda motor vehicle parked in Newbold Place, Wellesbourne. The bonnet and roof sustained scratch marks believed caused by offenders walking over the vehicle. (incident number 205/12.02.08.)
At approx. 1845hrs. 12.02.08, a stone was thrown at the front door of a dwelling in Valletta Way, Wellesbourne, breaking the outer glass of a double glazed panel. A witness saw two youths, 10-12 years of age, and wearing hoodies, running away from the scene towards the nearby underpass. (incident number 466/12.02.08.)
Between 2030hrs. 14.02.08 and 1030hrs. 15.02.08, damage was caused to a garage door on premises in Gifford Road, Lighthorne Heath. The up and over metal door sustained damage to the left side door jamb and door skin making it insecurable. (incident number 181/15.02.08.)
Between 0900hrs. 19.02.08 and 1000hrs. 21.02.08, a side, first floor window of a house in Whitworth Close, Wellesbourne, was damaged by an air pellet or something similar. The outer pane of the double glazed unit was broken. (incident number 166/22.02.08.)
Between 1700hrs. 23.02.08 and 0800hrs. 24.02.08, four vehicles parked in Chapel Street, Wellesbourne, were all damaged by having black marker pen drawn along them, as follows:-

Similar incidents of damage to a large number of vehicles parked in this street have occurred previously. The last occasion was over the Christmas 2007 period, and prior to that, in July of 2007 when on both occasions, the vehicles were scratched with a sharp implement.
At approx. 2245hrs. 23.02.08, a resident of Grange Gardens, Wellesbourne, heard a loud bang and on investigation found that a double glazed, first floor, bedroom window had been broken from the outside. On looking out of the window a group of males were seen running off towards the football club, one of the group wearing an Aston Villa supporters top. (incident number 740/23.02.08.)
At 0245hrs. 23.02.08, the rear windscreen of a Fiat Punto motor vehicle parked in Banbury Road, Kineton, was smashed. The owner of the vehicle was awoken by the sound of a vehicle turning around outside the premises and then heard a loud crash as the damage occurred. The vehicle then drove off and the owner of the Fiat subsequently recovered a heavy torch from their damaged vehicle. (incident number 161/23.02.08.)

Autocrime
Between 2130hrs. and midnight on 13.02.08, access was gained, by unknown means, to a Peugeot motor vehicle parked on The Green, Snitterfield. A brown leather handbag and its contents were stolen from the vehicle. (incident number 153/14.02.08.)
Between 2100hrs. 16.02.08 and 1000hrs. 17.02.08, a Vauxhall van parked outside a detached premises in the village of Shotteswell, was entered by unknown means. A number of tools were removed from the vehicle. (incident number 288/17.02.08.)
Burglary other
Between 2300hrs. 08.02.08 and 0900hrs. 09.02.08, a portacabin sited on farm premises on Banbury Road, Gaydon, was entered by removing a rear window. An extensive search was made of the building and the offenders made off with two laptop computers. (incident number 184/09.02.08.)
Between 1030hrs. 16.02.08 and 0745hrs. 17.02.08, offenders have sawn through metal gates at the entrance to stables on the Tysoe Road, Radway. A metal fence was also sawn through to gain access to a neighbouring stable - please see incident below. (incident number 156/17.02.08.)

At 1935hrs, 16.02.08, the owner of stables at the above location, secured the premises before leaving. At 0800hrs. the next morning it was discovered that a hole measuring some 8' x 4.5' had been cut in the side of a locked shed to gain access. A red Honda quad bike and a number of petrol cans were stolen from the building. It is believed that two Dobermann dogs that reside at the premises were kept quiet by being fed with a pig's trotter by the offenders. (incident 164/17.02.08.)
