Autocrime
At approx. 0245hrs. 28.01.08, a resident of Combrook was awoken by the sound of a car alarm activating. It was later discovered that a Vauxhall Zafira motor vehicle had been entered by smashing the front offside window. A pair of prescription 'Lens Grafter' make sunglasses were stolen from the front of the vehicle. (incident number 39/28.01.08.)

Between 0100hrs and 0845hrs. 28.01.08, the front nearside window of a Mini Cooper motor vehicle parked in Grange Gardens, Wellesbourne, was smashed. Entry was gained to the vehicle and a Tom Tom satellite navigation system stolen. (incident number 124/28.01.08.)

Between 1800hrs. 26.01.08 and 0830hrs. 28.01.08, a Mini Cooper motor vehicle parked in the village of Combrook, was entered and a search made of the glovebox. A Tom Tom satnav together with the charger lead and an MP3 player and leads were stolen. (incident number 132/30.01.08.)
At approx. 1815hrs. 31.01.08, the registration plates were stolen from a Mitsubishi motor vehicle parked at Lower End, Avon Dassett. The offenders activated the vehicle's alarm system which alerted the owner who, on going outside, heard a vehicle driving away. (incident number 518/31.01.08.)

Between 1620 and 2000hrs. 02.02.08, both front and rear number plates were stolen from a Smart car parked in Kenilworth Road, Lighthorne Heath. (incident number 203/02.02.08.)

Between 2000hrs. 06.02.08 and 0600hrs. 07.02.08, the rear screen of a Ford Focus motor vehicle parked in Warwick Road, Kineton, was smashed by unknown means. A black laptop bag containing an IBM Think Pad laptop was removed from the boot area of the vehicle. (incident number 61/07.02.08.)

Burglary Dwelling
Between 1600hrs and 2235hrs. 27.01.08, an insecure property in Southam Crescent, Lighthorne Heath was entered and a set of keys to a Rover saloon vehicle stolen from the kitchen area. The keys were then used to remove the vehicle from the front driveway. The vehicle was later involved in a road traffic incident near to Stratford where the driver made off from the scene. Between 1900hrs. 30.01.08 and 2130hrs. 31.01.08 a detached property on Warwick Road, Upper Fulbrook, was entered by forcing a ground floor window with a jemmy type instrument. A search had been made of the whole property and jewellery stolen from one of the bedrooms. (incident number 636/31.01.08.)

Criminal Damage
At sometime prior to 1000hrs. 29.01.08, two 6' fencing panels situated on the car park at Farrington Court, Wellesbourne, were damaged. (incident number 154/29.01.08.)

At approx. 1640hrs. 29.01.08, two fencing panels in Home Furlong, Wellesbourne, were damaged with graffiti being sprayed with aerosol paint. (incident number 498/29.01.08.)

Between 1830hrs. 30.01.08 and 0900hrs. 31.01.08, unknown offenders used a sharp implement to cause a single scratch along the nearside of a Nissan Micra motor vehicle parked in Chapel Street, Wellesbourne. (incident number 449/01.02.08.)
Between 1815hrs. 01.02.08 and 0915hrs. 02.02.08, gold spray paint was used to graffiti a side wall of a property in Banbury Street, Kineton. The lettering was approx. 12" high and covered approx. half of the wall. (incident number 213/02.02.08.)

A second house in Banbury Street, Kineton, also suffered graffiti to the front wall of the property when the word 'Muggins' was sprayed with gold spray paint. This would appear to have been done over the same time period. (incident number 297/03.02.08.)

The village shop in Kineton was also targetted by the graffiti artist when the letters 'THC' 'BLOD' and 'YES' were sprayed with gold spray paint. This occurred sometime between 1800hrs. 01.02.08 and 1015hrs, 02.02.08. (incident number 221/02.02.08.)

Theft
Sometime between 26.11.07 and 1000hrs. 22.01.08, approx. 500 litres of domestic heating oil was stolen from a tank positioned at the rear of a garage on detached premises in Loxley Road, Wellesbourne. (incident number 250/29.01.08.)

Between 07.01.08 and 31.01.08, approx. 600 litres of domestic heating oil was stolen from a tank situated at the rear of a detached property in Warwick Road, Kineton. The oil is believed to have been syphoned from the filler point at the top of the tank. (incident number 518/31.01.08.)

Overnight, 30th Jan/1st Feb. 08, entry was gained to a property undergoing renovation in Old School Lane, Lighthorne. A roll of electrical cable, a roll of lead and two battery operated Bosch drills were taken. (incident number 132/01.02.08.)
Between 1700hrs. 31.01.08 and 0800hrs. 01.02.08, a green JCB loadall fork lift with a 7m telescopic arm was stolen from Kineton Road, Wellesbourne. The unknown offenders had unbolted perimeter fencing to gain access and it is believed a low loader may have been used to convey the machine away. A local resident heard the machine being started at approx. 0630hrs, 01.02.08 and believes it was drive away towards Kineton. (incident number 151/01.02.08.)

During the afternoon of 1st February, '08, four bottles of champagne were found at the side of Warwick Road, Wellesbourne, by local officer, PC Chris Cuthbertson. Enquiries revealed that these had earlier been stolen from retail premises on Warwick Road. Champagne and owner have been reunited. (incident number 389/01.02.08.)

Between 1900hrs. 06.02.08 and 0800hrs. 07.02.08, an Eldis Crusader, twin axle, 23' long, caravan was stolen from isolated premises on the Banbury Road, Gaydon. The offenders had removed metal entrance gates from their hinges to gain entry to the area. (incident number 215/07.02.08.)

Attempt Burglary
At 0023hrs. 05.02.08, the alarm was activated at retail premises in Loxley Close, Wellesbourne. Unknown offenders had climbed the boundary fence and once inside the compound, used possibly a sledgehammer and chisel to remove exterior brickwork in an attempt to gain access to the office area of the building. When the internal brickwork was hit, sensors then triggered the alarm and the offenders made off. (incident number 6/05.02.08.)

Actions to be taken: Enforcement checks to be carried out. Partners to work together ref advice and long term solution. Ongoing work by both Traffic Police and local Team in this area. Partnership work has been conducted with Warwickshire County Council with regards to enforcement.

UPDATED: ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR (ASB)
Anti-social behaviour identified as an issue for the village of Lighthorne Heath.
Actions to be taken: Area to receive increased High Visibility Patrols, residents encouraged to report incidents, partner agencies to be used with regards to enforcement/prevention High Visibility patrols are being conducted in Lighthorne Heath. The Village is receiving Mobile Police Station visits Daily, operated by atleast one member of the Safer-Neighbourhoods Team

Anti-social Behaviour Identified as an issue, particularly for the villages for the Kineton locality
Actions to be taken: High Visibility Patrols to be Conducted, Operation Shenley to focus on issue, Partners to work together using previously tested successful means to help alleviate the problem Operation Shenley Co-ordinating directed Patrols within the area with positive affect. Work ongoing by local Safer Neighbourhood Team
