Burglary dwelling
Between 0940hrs. and 1250hrs. 25.02.08, offenders gained entry to a property in School Lane, Warmington. A small pane of glass in a single glazed window at the rear of the premises was broken, enabling the offender to reach through and open the window. A search had been made of all rooms and a laundry basket emptied, possibly using the laundry to carry away the stolen property. From the ground floor, two silver coasters, two silver candlesticks and a silver tea set consisting of a tray, teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl were stolen. On the first floor, a search was made of three of the four bedrooms. A black leather box containing 12 pairs of earrings and a box of loose change were taken. The offenders appear to have left the property via the same window they gained entry, and have dropped further items into a flower bed whilst making their escape. (incident number 219/25.02.08.)
At sometime prior to 1630hrs. 01.03.08, a property in Elliott Drive, Wellesbourne, was entered, believed by an insecure window at the rear of the premises. A t.v. and a computer were stolen. (incident number 558/01.03.08.)

The offenders have then cut through another padlock securing the jockey wheel of a double axled, low sided trailer. The trailer was then stolen together with a child's wooden adventure playground which was being stored on it. It is believed the trailer was man handled across the cricket pitch and then possibly hooked up to a vehicle left on the road. The trailer is of unknown make but is 8' x 5' in size, has a plywood deck and aluminium checker-plated sides. (incident number 109/26.02.08.)

Offenders scaled a large brick wall giving them access to the rear of the store from where they jemmied their way into the warehouse. Once inside, the offenders emptied the contents of a cigarette kiosk into a large yellow skip bag. They have then forced their way into another secure area where they have also taken a trolley loaded with cigarettes and lottery tickets. All of these items were then transferred to the skip bag which was used to remove the stolen property from the premises. CCTV cameras have captured images of three offenders within the store and enquiries are continuing. (incident number 629/27.02.08.)
