On the evening of 19/09/2008, police were called to assist the fire service at the scene of an arson in Wellesbourne Village.

A park bench near to the White Bridge over the river Dene was deliberately burnt in a malicious attack.

The incident is being treated as Arson and anyone who either witnessed the incident or knows any information is urged to contact the police quoting:-
