August has proven to be a productive month for the Wellesbourne Policing Team

(14)fourteen warning letters have been sent out from the Stratford District Council Anti Social Behaviour Officer, showing the strong links that are held between the team and its' partners.

(1)one ABC(anti - social behaviour contract) Meeting has been held in Wellesbourne, further combating anti - social behaviour within the area.

PCSO's Dean Canning and Michelle Suddaby held a Home Security Awareness Morning at Wyevale Garden Centre. They distributed crime prevention literature and spoke to the public about security within the home.

Members have been recruited in the Kineton Area for a Pub Watch scheme to partner the scheme already in existence in Wellesbourne; licencees in the area have been visited during the last few weeks, the final few responses are being sought and collated for the system to get up and running.

PCSO Canning has organised leaflets and literature to try and establish the re-birth of Neighbourhood Watch schemes in those villages in the Wellesbourne area where the schemes have dried up. Residents in local villages have received letters and questionnaires about the schemes, other villages are to receive literature in the near future.

(2)Two Arrests were made for a Burglary in the Wellesbourne area. The investigation continues, both have been bailed.
