There has also been a burglary of a home at Newnham Lane on Monday 23/1 between 6.15am and 6.15pm where rear patio doors were forcred. A laptop and Wii were stolen.
For people who keep their eyes open whilst travelling around the area, a daytime burglary in Wolston this week involved a small white car derived van and the offenders broke straight through the front door approx 3pm to 3.30pm on Wed.
If you have a garage please remember up and over doors are notoriously easy to break into quickly and quietly and please consider dead bolts on the inside or a product such as garage defender for the outside. A burglar alarm is still recommended as the best security device for your house.
