There has been a second sneak in burglary in Long Lawford in two weeks.

Between 5pm and 7pm on Saturday 17th December 2011 unknown offenders have sneaked around the rear of a house on Chapel Street Long Lawford. They have opened the unlocked rear door and entered the house whilst the occupants were inside. They have made off with a handbag containing house and car keys, money, purse, ID and bank cards without disturbing the occupants. Some of the items were abandoned in West Street which could link a Silver car to the offenders.

Please consider locking your doors and windows at all times even when you are inside house and ensure that your valuables including keys are not easily visible from any doors or windows.
