Please be aware of the following burglaries which have occurred in your area over recent days.

Incident 322 of 12 January
At some point before 8pm on 12 January offenders forced open a wooden casement window at a home in Rugby Road, Binley Woods and then entered the premises to steal a large amount of jewellery.

Incident 181 of 17 January
Between 9am and 5pm, yesterday, 17 January offenders forced open a rear door at a home in Ferndale Road, Binley Woods and entered the house.

Once inside, the offenders stole a quantity of Asian gold jewellery along with the keys to a Mercedes vehicle. The Mercedes is not driveable at the moment so was left at the scene. A bag containing jewellery was later recovered by a member of the public in Rugby Road.

Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and please report anything of concern to Police. Thankyou.
