NHW RU Incidents in Townsend Road, Abbey Street, Winfield Street & The Sidings, Rugby
Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at homes in your area over recent days.
Incident 136 of 2 February
At some point before 12.40pm on 2 February offenders stole a green, ladies 'Barracuda' mountain bike from the rear garden of a home in Townsend Road, Rugby.
Incident 157 of 6 February
At just after 12.30pm on 6 February two male offenders attempted to get into a home in Abbey Street, Rugby by forcing open rear UPVC windows. The offenders failed to get in but did manage to smash the glass in one of the window and the sound alerted a neighbour who disturbed the offenders who then quickly made off.
The offenders are described as two males. One was wearing a dark top and the other wore a dark hat and was possibly Asian.
Incident 382 of 5 February
At just after 11.30pm on 5 February a witness saw three males hiding in the bushes in the garden of a home in Winfield Street, Rugby. All the males were described as white and all under 20 years of age and they were trying to remove an automatic light.
Police attended the scene and two of the offenders were arrested.
Incident 93 of 11 February
During the night of 10 into 11 February offenders removed four fence panels from the fencing at the bottom of the garden of a home in The Sidings, Rugby. The offenders then entered the garden and stole a pink Raleigh Titanium girls bike and a silver Raleigh Titanium boys bike from near a shed. The shed was also entered but nothing further was stolen.
