Harris School are set to have their very own PCSO.

Police Community Support Officer Amanda Preston will be based at the School from the 1st September. The aim of having a PCSO in schools is to build and develop positive relations between, Police, Schools and the local community with particular emphasis on contact with the students.

PCSO Amanda Preston said "I am looking forward to this new challenge, I have been a PCSO for nearly 4 years and i hope to make a positive impact with young people and assist them to help make the school and community safer and more secure, and to ensure that their views are taken on board in developing the partnership"
