Alfred Green Close Residents Meeting
PC Stephen Mobbs from the SNT West team attended a residents meeting at Alfred Green Close on Tuesday 11th November to discuss local issues and concerns. The meeting consisting of 20 residents discussed the problems of anti-social behaviour involving youths that hang around the area causing concern to the elderly community. PC Mobbs discussed a short term solutions that would be put into place, these would be: To speak to parents of youths Hi - Visibility patrolling to continue with SNT officers working with reactive officers.
Parking Issues were also raised as a concern especially with the local church. PC Mobbs is in talks to discuss these concerns with the council to raise the idea of road markings or even vehicle permit badges.
In all PC Mobbs was pleased with the outcome of the meeting and was pleased to have met more of the local community. Another meeting will be arranged sometime in the New year.
