Inspector 486 Paul Judson

Inspector Paul Judson is one of the sector Inspectors based at Rugby and has geographical responsibility for the Rugby North, east and Town teams. Inspector Judson has previously worked at Nuneaton, Bedworth and in the North Warwickshire district. The majority of his service though has been spent on the Rugby District both in uniform and as a CID officerafter joining the organisation in 1984.

My name is Charlotte and I have been a Community Safety Warden since November 2005. I am employed by the Rugby Borough Council and work in partnership with Rugby Police to provide a reactive service. I have been accredited to provide enforcement-surrounding issues within the community. I am the appointed person for Brownsover, Benn Ward and Newton and will attend as many of the residential meetings in these areas as is possible where I will be happy to discuss with you any concerns.

Samantha joined Warwickshire Police in 1985 as a Police Cadet, moving on to the regular service in 1986. She has mainly worked in the Rugby area, and has carried out roles in reactive work, community policing, dog section, and custody sergeant before joining the Rugby Town North Team.

My name is Branko Damjanovic and I am a PCSO based at Rugby Police Station. I started in early January 2007 and the beat I cover is very multi cultural and diverse. I enjoy being out and about and being a high visibility presence. Also visiting schools, day centres and Age Concern are a joy to do.

Police Community Support Officer 6120 Craig Holland, Newbold beat

Craig is the Police Community Support Officer for the Newbold area. His job is to combat anti-social behaviour and other issues which affect the community. This involves making enquiries, gathering evidence, traffic duties and dealing with nuisance youths. Craig patrols his area which is The Groves area off Newbold Road, down into Newbold village, including the Glebe and Parkfield Road areas. As Craig is predominantly on foot, he is easily approachable, and will do his best to assist in any police related issues you may have.

Police Community Support Officer 6128 Barbara Knibbs, Brownsover beat

Barbara has been a P.C.S.O since January 2007. She is assigned to the Brownsover beat where she works closely with her community. She regularly attends the local Neighbourhood Watch meeting and provides them with advice and information. She also works within the schools in the area to educate and mix with the children to provide better relationships with the police from an early age, this is as well as her normal duties which include patrolling the area and providing reassurance within the community.

Police Constable 0671 Adam Skelsey Newbold Beat

Adam joined Warwickshire Police in 2001, and has experience on reactive teams, ANPR and pro-active CID all in the Rugby area. He is now one of the officers responsible for the Newbold area, and is aware of the on-going community issues affecting the local people and economy. He is a tutor constable, and in his spare time enjoys watching and playing football.

Edd has been with warwickshire police since Janurary 2007. He started in Leamington Town centre before moving over to Rugby where he has worked on the reactive shift before moving onto Rugby North Safer neighbourhood team, and currently covers the Newbold area. In his spare time he plays football and Rugby.

Police Constable 1566 Sharron Balding, Brownsover beat

Sharron joined Warwickshire Police in 2003, starting as a reactive officer for the first two years of her service. Since that time Sharron has become a safer neighbourhood officer, working on the Brownsover area of Rugby and is well aware of the issues affecting the local community.

Police Constable 1517 Katherine Brock, Benn beat

Kat has been a police officer in Warwickshire Police since 2002. She started her Career in Atherstone working as a reactive officer and stayed there for two and a half years. She then transferred to Rugby to work as a reactive officer for a further twelve months and then on to this team. Kat is now policing the Benn beat and has been there for a few months.

Police Constable 826 Shane Bird, Brownsover beat

Shane joined Warwickshire police in 2003 and began his training by patrolling the town centre of Rugby. Once his training was completed Shane spent three years as a reactive police officer in Rugby and enjoyed this role. He is now one of the officers responsible for Brownsover and is fully aware of the local issues that affect the residents of the area and also those who visit the area. Shane is also a tutor constable where he tries to assist student officers in order for them to enhance their own knowlegde of their chosen career.

Police Constable 1720 Sarah Clapham

Sarah has been with Warwickshire Police since 2005 and was trained on the Town centre before moving to the 24hr reactive response shift. She then spent 2 years as a reactive Police Officer in Rugby before spending 5 months in the Prisoner Processing Team interviewing and processing prisoners and compiling Court files. Sarah is the newest addition to the Rugby North Safer Neighbourhood Team. Before joining the Police force Sarah spent 3 years at University and was a PCSO for a year at Coleshill before becoming a Police Officer. Sarah is a trained officer in dealing with vulnerable and intimidated witnesses and victims of crime. Off duty Sarah can generally be found walking her energetic and increasingly large puppy, cycling or socialising.
