On Thursday 20th November 2008 a male was issued a Section 59 warning for riding his moped on the Pavement along Hillmorton Road.

The Section 59 Warning can be issued to anyone seen driving/riding in a manner which has been causing alarm, harassment and distress to a member of the public, contrary to section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 . The warning applies to the vehicle as well as the person seen riding/ driving the vehicle. If the person/ vehicle is seen being used in this way again the vehicle can be seized by officers!
