Yet another section 59 warning was issued to a rider of a motorcycle in the Hillmorton area. The rider was seen using the motorcycle on the pavement on the Hillmorton Road on Friday 1st August and the details of rider and machine will now be on the Police National Computer for the next twelve months. If the rider or machine comes to the attention of the police again then there is the real risk of the machine being seized and crushed; the rider would then face the prospect of a fine and possible court action.

The team will continue to respond in a proactive manner and will be targeting known hotspots where these vehicles are being used to the detriment of the public.

In the past three months there have been five incidents of this nature that team members have dealt with so...WRONGDOERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
