Community Priority - Targeted patrols in Grandborough and Woolscott

Targeted patrols to be conducted in Grandborough and Woolscott to deter and prevent the offences of metal theft. A minimum of 15 patrols are to be conducted before the next forum meeting. This priority was set at the PACT priority meeting held in Dunchurch on the 30th November 2011.

Update for Period 01st December - 31st December 2011

During this period a total of twelve patrols have been conducted. PCSO Helena Steadman has liaised with the local Neighbourhood Watch Association and an abandoned vehicle has been seized after it was used to commit an offence of petrol theft.

Update for Period 01st January 2012 - 04th March 2012

During this period further patrols were conducted by the Neighbourhood Policing team. A number of vehicles were stopped for intelligence purposes and routine checks were conducted on vehicles and their occupants in relation to metal collection.
