Community Priority - Combat Metal Thefts - Calcutt Marinas

To conduct preventative patrols in and around the marinas in the Calcutt area in order to combat metal thefts. To conduct a minimum of fifteen patrols.

This priority was set at the Dunchurch Community Forum on 08th September 2011. Details of action will follow here on a monthly basis.

Update for Period Ending 08th October 2011

In the past month there have been thirteen patrols conducted in and around the Calcutt marinas. This has included liaising with site owners and occupants of the barges in order to promote our presence and for locals to be vigilant when it comes to metal thefts.

Update for Period Ending 08th November 2011

In the past month there have been a further five directed patrols around the marinas.

Update for Period Ending 30th November 2011

Further patrols were conducted by officers of the neighbourhood policing team at the marinas. No issues were identified by officers and after liasing with management at both sites no overall issues were raised. Patrols will continue, to maintain presence even when the priority is closed.
