Team leaders
Sgt Faulkner joined West Midlands Police in April 1998, where he was a fast response officer based at Chace Avenue in Willenhall in Coventry for 2 years. He then progressed into the role of a community beat officer for Ernsford Grange for 2 years before moving onto the CID at Chace Avenue. He spent the next four years based within Coventry and some parts of Birmingham and also spent time on the Murder Investigation Unit. In February 2006 he was promoted within the West Midlands police to the rank of Sergeant where he was transferred to Kings Heath Police Station in Birmingham as a fast response Sergeant. In August 2006 Sgt Faulkner transferred to Warwickshire Police where he was given the role of reactive Sgt at Rugby before moving to his present role as the Rugby Rural SNT Sergeant.
Team members
PC Salt is currently in position whilst PC 1784 Bunyard is abstracted to another SNT Team. PC Salt has been with Warwickshire Police for 2 years and has worked on the reactive shifts for this period of time. He is excited about his new appointment and will be responsible for the North Rural area of Rugby.
Sharon covers the Wolvey and Avon and Swift wards.
PCSO Wil Weininger has been in the rural team since his appointment in Spring 2007. He has recently taken over responsibility for the FOSSE ward, and is very happy to be deeply involved with the rural community. He starts his working day at Rugby Police Station before heading out for a shift full of, foot patrols, community engagement, offering crime prevention advice, and making local enquiries.
