Three Arrests Follow Discovery of Cannabis Farm, Rugby

Safer Neighbourhood Team police officers in Rugby arrested three men of suspicion of cultivating cannabis on Saturday evening.

The three men, aged 24 years, 29 years and 30 years were arrested at warehouse premises on Coventry Road, Thurlaston, after police found 146 mature cannabis plants under cultivation at the location.

The building had been fitted out with an extensive hydroponics system.

The three who were arrested have been released on police bail pending further examination of the premises and the seizure of the plants which have now been sent for destruction.
