Thieves broke into a house on Church Road, Long Itchington early this morning, stole car keys from the kitchen and stole the Volkswagen car parked outside.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the VW Golf being driven away around 2.45 am on Wednesday February 3, or who knows where the vehicle is now being kept.

The Golf is an R32 grey saloon, registration number C14 RRA.

The car was last seen being driven away from Church Road in the direction of Bascote.

Police would also like to talk to the occupants of a car who travelled towards Bascote from Church Road, shortly after the vehicle was stolen. The car was being driven slowly.
