Police Incident Report 4 March to 31 March 2008
Tuesday 4th March 1430hrs
· Hallway Drive, Shilton. Distraction Burglary. Two properties attempted, acting as workmen or waterboard. Nothing taken, believe a new Red Seat Leon to be involved.

Wednesday 5th March 2120hrs
· Top Road, Barnacle. Suspicious Circumstances. Vehicle seen in field, with no business being there.

Thursday 6th March 2000hrs
· Lower Road, Barnacle. Arrest. By Thames Valley Police following a previous theft from motor vehicle at this address.

Friday 7th March 1200hrs
· Leicester Road, Shilton. Road. Dangerous Parking reported.

Friday 7th March 2100hrs
· Shilton Village Hall. Drugs. Two street cautions issued for possession of cannabis.

Wednesday 19th March, Overnight.
· Barnacle Hall Farm. Theft. Large amount of diesel stolen after cutting chain from tank.

Wednesday 19th March 1130hrs
· Leicester Road, Shilton. Fail stop. Vehicle stopped after initially refusing.

Sunday 23rd March 1315hrs
· Shilton industrial Estate. Burglary Other. Employee detained two youths caught exiting after breaking in through window. Suspects released as police were en route. Suspects left on mopeds.
Wednesday 26th March 1130hrs
· Woodway engineering, Barnacle. Theft. One male in White ford escort vrmW741CJN. Seen loading scrap metal into vehicle. Several witnesses. IP does not wish to take further.

Wednesday 26th March 1645hrs
· Spring Road, Barnacle. Damage. Found section of hedge burnt.

Wednesday 26th March 1850hrs
· Shilton Yard. Theft. Persons detained on suspicion of diesel or cable theft. British Transport Police took over.

Sunday 30th March 2000hrs
· Top Road, Barnacle. Firearms. Persons injured by youths with air rifles and catapults behind village hall. Suspects sighted.

Calls on suspicion of trespass made concerning Travellers at Top Road, Barnacle.

Other recent reported incidents Fosse and Rural February 2008
· Silver Estate car is suspect connected to thefts of hanging baskets in Brinklow.
· Attempted distraction burglary in Shilton. Offenders posing as waterboard.
· Theft of a rental white ford transit vrmVN56VLF from Stretton under Fosse.
· Theft of White ford transit vrmYS52UKY from Stretton under Fosse.
· Burglary Dwelling, Willey. Garage door removed. Property recovered.
· Possible arson attempt. Brinklow church. There has been an increase in arson incidents recently, with CID now taking them very seriously.
· Theft of diesel and farm machinery (attaches to tractor for breaking up concrete) from Brinklow.

Police also involved with the stop and search of several suspicious vehicles at Mobbs Wood / Nettle Hill.
