Drunk driver arrested Coton Park.
A male has been arrested from the Coton Park Estate on Sunday 4th March 2012 for drink driving. The male then blew 84 on the Breathalyzer and has been charged to court.

Man Charged With Stealing Drain Covers Worth £155,000
A man has been arrested and charged by West Mercia Police with stealing 628 drain covers worth a total of £155,325 from roads in North Worcestershire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands.

The man, who is aged 26 and from Studley in Warwickshire, was charged by police at Redditch after answering bail yesterday (Thursday, 8 March).

He faces ten charges of stealing drain covers from locations including Redditch, Bromsgrove, Nuneaton, Shirley, and Studley, on dates between 30 November, 2011 and 12 January this year (2012).
Additionally he is charged with converting criminal property, namely drain covers, by selling them for a cash payment of £428 contrary to the Proceeds Of Crime Act. That offence is alleged to have taken place at Kingswinford on 12 January.

The man has been released on police bail to appear at Redditch Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 20 March.

Drink Driver in Pailton disqualified from driving for 40 months
A 40 year old male from Coventry pleaded guilty to driving whilst drunk in charge of a vehicle, holding no driving licence and having no insurance when he was stopped and arrested by PC CREE, in Pailton. The male has been fined £110 and disqualified from driving for 40 months.

A 20 year old male from Shilton, who crashed his vehicle on Withybrook Lane on Christmas Day whilst driving over the legally prescribed alcohol limit, has been disqualified from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay a £220 fine and £50 costs.

Suspicious vehicle Easenhall.
On 28th March 2012 a 29 year old male from Coventry was arrested for several burglary and theft offences. One of those offences was a burglary dwelling a couple of days before, in Leamington Spa and taking a motor vehicle without the owners consent. The vehicle was seen with occupants acting suspiciously in the Easenhall area of Rugby the next day. The arrested male is also being charged with driving whilst disqualified, and driving a vehicle without insurance.

Males searched Withybrook Lane.
PC Giustine Cree, stop checked two vehicles with four male occupants, parked on Withybrook Lane, Shilton. PC Taylor of MOD Police joined her at the location to assist with searching the males and vehicles. One male aged 18, and another aged 20, were in possession of cannabis. One was issued with a formal cannabis warning, the other was issued with an £80 fixed penatly notice. Further enquires continue into one of the males being in possession of a vehicle registration plate in the boot of his vehicle, that did not belong to him.

Rugby RN SNT priority - March 2010: Anti-social behaviour in Harborough Magna
Recently there has been an increase in reports of ASB in the Harborough Magna area and we want to make people feel safer and reduce the fear of crime. We feel that this should be a priority for us for the next 3 months.

Illegal off road motorcycles, Coton Park and Copston Magna - Set March 2010
The issue of anti social riding of off road motorcycles in the Coton Park and Copston Magna area needs to be addressed. The weather is getting warmer and we need to let people know that it will not be tolerated.
Actions to be taken: >p>The team will carry out high visability partols on a minimum of 8 occasions. <p>Coton Meadows <p>March 2010, patrols were carried out on:- <p>25/03/2010 from 10.00am till 11.15am with no issues. <p>28/05/2010 from 2.15pm till 2.45pm with no issues. <p>30/05/2010 patrols were carried out from 10.30am till 11.00am with no issues, I did return to the area at 11.25am as I could hear bikes by the balancing ponds, when I made the area, both bikes had fled. <p>31/05/2010 from 11.00am till 11.40am. <p>May 2010, patrols were carried out on :- <p>07/04/2010 from 11.15am till 12.00 mid-day. <p>08/04/2010 from 11.45am till 12.05pm with no issues. <p>10/04/2010 from 9.00pm till 9.10pm with no issues. <p>17/04/2010 from 4.55pm till 5.10pm with no issues. <p>16/04/2010 from 8.12pm till 8.21pm with no issues. <p>18/04/2010 from 11.55am till 12.20pm with no issues. <p> June 2010, patrols were carried out on - <p>23/05/2010 from 10.30am till 10.40am with no issues. <p>24/05/2010 from 1.35pm till 1.45pm with no isses. <p>Copston Magna <p>March 2010, patrols were carried out on:- <p>26/03/2010 contact was made with Lafarge to see if they owned the quarry at Copston Magna, this turned out to be a negative result. <p>27/03/2010 patrols were carried out from 2.30pm till 3.30pm with no issues, we also made a temporary barrier at the second entry point to the quarry, to prevent access. <p>28/03/2010 patrols were carried out from 10.30am till 1.00pm with no issues. A local farmer did inform us that the quarry belonged to Cemex. <p>April 2010, patrols were carried out on:- <p>01/04/2010 two section 59 warning signs were placed on the main gate and second entry point to the quarry, to warn bikers that bikes would be seized if they were seen ridden in the area. <p>09/04/2010 contact was made with the quarry site manager and he agreed that we could police the area and that he would secure the fencing for me and replace the padlock on the main gate. <p>16/04/2010 cemex were at the quarry and securing he fencing. <p>17/04/2010 patrols were carried out at 2.50pm, 2 males were seen to be off loading a bike of a trailer and trying to gain access to the quarry. Bikers were moved on and patrols carried out till 4.00pm with no other issues. <p>18/04/2010 patrols were carried out from 10.55am till 12.05pm with no issues. <p>30/04/2010 patorls were carried out from 1.25pm till 1.50pm with no issues. <p>May 2010, patrols were carried out:- <p>02/05/2010 with no issues. <p>23/05/2010 with no issues. <p>30/05/2010 with no issues.

Rugby RN SNT - March 2010: Theft from Motor Vehicle and acquisitive crime
Over the last few months there have been several reports of vehicle crime offences in the Avon and Swift Ward and Clifton. It is believed that the majority of these are opportunist, however, we believe that we need to actively patrol these areas to show visibility to deter criminals from offending.

COMPLETED JUNE 2010 PRIORITY - MONITORING OF ALCOHOL BASED OFFENCES DURING THE WORLD CUP
During the recent Community Form, it was highlighted that there maybe more alcohol-based offences during the World Cup. The SNT will monitor offences and carry out visits to licensed premises during the period of the World Cup. There is no specific number of visits to particular premises as long as they are monitored on a regular basis

COMPLETED JUNE 2010 PRIORITY - ACQUISITIVE CRIME IN THE AREA OF SHILTON INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
In the last few weeks prior to the Community Forum there has been an increase of acquisitive crime in the Shilton industrial estate area. Officers will patrol the estate a minimum of 15 times during the next 3 months and try and forge better links with the business community in the area.
Actions to be taken: <p>June <p>Patrols have been conducted on 16/06/2010 several units have been spoken to by officers in relation to leaving scrap metal out infront of their premises. <p>Patrols have been carried out on 17/06/2010 with no issues. <p>Whilst the dog handler was on patrol on the on 18/06/2010 he seized a vehicle for having no insurance and no tax, police believe this vehicle has been distrubed in a commercial break. <p>Three more patrols have been conducted by the dog handler during the evening of the 18/06/2010 and 19/06/2010, no further issues to report. <p>The area has been patroled three times on 25/06/2010 with no issues. <p>The area has been patroled on the 26/06/2010 with no issues. <p>The area has been patroled on the 29/06/2010 with no issues. <p>July <p>Patrols have been conducted on 01/07/2010 with no issues. <p>Patrols have been conducted on 02/07/2010 with no issues. <p>Patrols have been conducted on 04/07/2010 with no issues. <p>Patrols have been conducted on 05/07/2010 after received a call of a suspicious male in the area, area patrol conducted with no trace and no issues. <p>Patrols have been conducted on 09/07/2010 with no issues. <p>Patrols have been conducted on 12/07/2010 with no issues. <p>On 13/07/2010 a VDRS was issued for registration plates failing to conform to DVLA standards. COMPLETED JUNE 2010 PRIORITY - SPEEDING BETWEEN HARBOROUGH PARVA AND EASENHALL
At the recent Community Forum it was highlighted that vehicles are speeding between Easenhall and Harborough Pavar ( Rugby Road/Easenhall Road). Officers will attend the area a minimum 8 occasions to monitor the speed of vehicles and carry out stop checks of vehicles using the road.

COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 2010 - Priority 1 - Speeding on Church Hill, Wolvey
It was highlighted at the recent community forum about speeding on Church Hill, Wolvey. The SNT team has now adopted this road. We will carry out speed checks, vehicle checks and casualty awareness at this location a minimum 15 times within the next 3 months. This also form part of the force wide operation in relation to the wearing of seat belts.

One VDRS was issued for not displaying plates that conform to DVLA regulations, there were no other concerns. <p>One vehicle has been checked in the early hours of 16/11/10 as it was believed to be carrying a heavy load, all was in order. <p>Random patrols have been carried out by the dog handler in the early hours with nothing to report on 17/11/10. <p>End of policing priority.

COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 2010 - Priority 3 - Reassurance patrols at Shilton industrial estate.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum that that employees and unit owners at Shilton Industrial Estate feel vulnerable at their place of work. The SNT have pledged to proactively patrol the area and offer reassurance a minimum 25 times in the next 3 months.

November 2010 - Priority 1 - The adoption of the entire length of the Fosse Way through area, as our "priority road" to help reduce causalities of the road and deny criminals the use of the road.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum that there has been an increase of acquisitive crime within the area of the Fosse Way. The SNT has pledged to proactively patrol the area a minimum 15 times over the coming months to deter criminal activity and gather intelligence. This will also include stop checks of suspicious vehicles and persons

November 2010 - Priority 2 - Increased visible patrols on Fosse Ward to reduce and deter acquistive crime. Particularly Stretton Under Fosse, Shilton and Monks Kirby.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum that there has been a slight increase in burglary dwellings within the area of the Fosse Ward. The SNT has pledged to proactively patrol the above area's a minimum of 15 times within the coming months to deter criminal activity and gather intelligence.

November 2010 - Priority 3 - Increase patrols on industrial units at Central Park Drive and Swift Valley to deter rowdy behaviour.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum that there has been an increase in anti-social behaviour on the industrial units at Central Park Drive and the Swift Valley. The SNT has pledged to proactively patrol the above area's a minimum of 15 times within the coming months to deter the problems.

March 2011 - Priority 1 - Coton Park - Increase patrols to deter speeding.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum that local residents are concerned about the speed of traffic through the estate. The safer neighbourhood team has pledged to carry out a minimum of 15 patrols in the Coton Park Area to deter and detect speeding motorist.
Actions to be taken: <p>March <p>High visible patrols were carried out in a marked police vehicle from 3.50pm till 4.00pm with no speeding issues. <p>On Thursday 24th March patrols were carried out between 7.40pm and 8.25pm with no concerns for speeding motorists. <p>Patrols were carried out on 30th March from 1.35pm till 1.45pm with no concerns for speeding raised. <p>Patrols were carried out on 31st March from 3.00pm till 3.20pm with no concerns for speeding raised. <p>April <p>On Saturday 9th April the speed gun was used by local officers between 5.00pm and 5.25pm. No speeding was detected at this time, but one motorists was issued with a £60.00 fixed penalty notice for not wearing a seat belt. <p>On the 15th April the speed gun was used by officers, a total of 122 left the estate and 138 entered the estate during this time, all cars were travelling between 15 mph and 22 mph. <p>On the 19th April foot patrols were carried out from 1.00pm till 2.4pm and again on 21st April at the same time with no concerns for speeding. <p>Patrols were carried out from 11.10am till 11.30am with no issues raised. <p>May <p>Patrols were carried out on the 3rd May from 10.40am till 11.04am with no issues. <p>On the 4th May the speed gun was used by officers on Coton Park Drive, a total of 55 cars left the estate and 46 entered the estate, all of which were travelling between 15 and 19 mph only one vehicle was travelling at 23 mph. <p>On the 6th May patrols were carried out between 3.10pm and 4.20pm with no concerns. <p>On the 10th May patrols were carried out between 8.20pm and 9.00pm one £60.00 fixed penalty notice was issued to a driver fro using their mobile phone whilst driving. <p>Two patrols were carried out on 14th May between 2.30pm and 4.55pm and again at 7.00pm till 8.00pm with on concerns for speeding. <p>Patrols were carried out on 18th May between 4.25pm and 4.50pm with no issues. <p>Foot patrols were carried out 20th May around the estated from 1.15pm till 2.45pm with no concerns raised. <p>Patrols were carried out on 28th May between 5.55pm and 6.10pm with no concerns.

March 2011 - Priority 2 - Shilton, Ansty, Brinklow and Stretton Under Fosse - Increase patrols in the area to disrupt travelling criminal activity.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum that there has been an increase in criminal activity in the above areas. The safer neighbourhoods team has pledged to proactively patrol the area for a minimum of 15 patrols in order to disrupt travelling criminal activity.
Actions to be taken: <p>March <p>On the 20/03/2011 between 2.10pm and 2.55pm a horte was issued to a driver of a vehicle on the Shilton Industrial Estate to produce insurance documents at the station as the system didn't show any for the vehicle. <p>On the 26/03/2011 patrols were carried out around 8.00pm with no issues. <p>On the 29/03/2011 one VDRS was issued to a driver for a defective brake light in Barnacle and one Fixed Penalty Notice was issued to a driver for not wearing a seat belt. <p>April <p>Two patrols were carried out on the 08/04/2011 with on issues to report. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 11/04/2011 between 6.00pm and 7.00pm with nothing to report. <p>On the 18/04/2011 an abandoned caravan was found on Withybrook Lane, this was then called through to the council for them to clear. <p>On the 20/04/2011 a missing person from a different force was found on our area. <p>On the 21/04/2011 patrols were carried out from 7.30pm till 8.00pm with no concerns in the area. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 24/04/2011 from 1.30pm till 1.40pm with no concerns. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 28/04/2011 from 3.40pm till 4.00pm, no issues. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 30/04/2011 from 1.25pm till 3.50pm, no issues. <p>May <p>Patrols were carried out on the 05/05/2011 from 2.40pm till 3.20pm with no concerns. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 08/05/2011 from 9.00pm till 11.30pm with no concerns. <p>Two patrols were carried out on the 09/05/2011 with no concerns. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 13/05/2011 from 11.05am till 1.10pm with no concerns. <p>Two patrols were carried out on the 14/05/2011 with no concerns. <p>On the 16/05/2011 a suspicious vehicle on Shilton Industrial Estate was checked through our system, but is came back with no reports linked to it. <p>On the 18/05/2011 4 males were checked for suspicion of having Cannabis due to the smell coming from the vehicle, after being searched it came back as a negative result. <p>Patrols were carried out on the 19/05/2011 from 7.00pm till 8.00pm with no concerns. <p>On Wednesday 25th two males were searched because of a strong smell on Cannabis coming from their vehicle on Cathiron Lane, nothing was found on the males on this occasion. <p>On the 26th May PC Cree arrested a suspicious male at Coombe Abbey Park, when the male was throught he police system it turned out he was wanted on warrant and for suspicion of burglary.

March 2011 - Priority 3 - Wolvey - Increase patrols to deter speeding motorists on Bulkington Road.
It was highlighted at the recent community forum meeting that local residents are concerned about the speed of traffic along Bulkington Road, Wolvey. The safer neighbourhood team has pledged to conduct 5 operations to deter and detect speeding on Bulkington Road.
Actions to be taken: <p>March <p>On 21/03/2011 between 2.55pm and 3.45pm officers issued one £60.00 fixed penalty notice for misrepresented number plate and one £30.00 ticket was issued for parking on the junction of Bulkington Road. <p>On the 30th March between 2.05pm and 2.22pm the speed gun was used on Bulkington Road and one motorist was sent a warning letter regarding their speeding. <p>April <p>On the 8th April a fixed penalty notice was issued to the owner of a vehicle for parking on the junction of Bulkington Road. <p>On the 9th April between 4.00pm and 4.30pm 3 verbal warnings/cautions were given to motorists for exceeding the 30 mph speed limit. <p>On the 10th April between 1.14pm and 2.14pm 2 fixed penalty notices were issued for speeding in the 30 mph zone. <p>On the 28th April a Fixed Penalty Notice of £60.00 was issued to a motorist for not wearing a seat belt whilst driving. <p>June <p>On the 1st June speed gun checks were carried out on Bulkington Road, from 2.15pm till 3.15pm a total of 65 cars left the village and 64 entered the village during this time. Three verbal warnings were issued to motorist's for travelling between 30 mph and 33 mph, one motorists was issued with a £60.00 fixed penalty notice for not wearing their seat belt whilst driving.

Community Priority - Anti-Social Behaviour, Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle - Set 16th June 2011
<p><b>It was highlighted at the recent Community Forum that local residents are concerned about the anti-social behaviour in the villages of Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle. The Safer Neighbourhood Team has pledged to carry out a minimum of 15 patrols in the area to increase public confidence.</b></p>
Actions to be taken: <p><b>June:</b></p> <p>Patrols were conducted by PCSO Matt Havelock between 09:50 and 11:00 hours on Friday 17th June 2011. No issues or incidents during this patrol.</p> <p>Area of Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle were patrolled on Saturday 18th June 2011. Times of the patrol were 15:20 until 15:50. No issues present during this patrol.</p> <p>Area of Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle were patrolled by PCSO Matt Havelock on Saturday 18th June 2011. The patrol also included the industrial area. The patrol was between 20:39 and 21:05. Asked two lads why they were near a derelict building nothing suspicious. No further issues.</p> <p>PC 1879 Cree patrolled Shilton between 14:00 hours and 15:15 hours on Tuesday 21st June 2011. House alarm activated on Wood Lane but spoke with occupants and checked house - all was in order.</p> <p>PC 1879 Cree patrolled Shilton and Barnacle on Friday 24th June 2011 between the hours of 20:00 and 20:35. There were no issues to report during my patrol. Paid particular attention to Top Road, Barnacle following two reports of an incident earlier that the road had been blocked.</p> <p>PC 1879 Cree patrolled Barnacle, Ansty and Shilton on Saturday 25th June 2011 between the hours of 18:45 and 21:15. No issues to report. <p>PC 1879 Cree made various patrols during course of shift between the hours of 16:25 and 18:10 hours of Ansty and Shilton on Sunday 26th June 2011. No issues to report.</p> <p>Area patrolled 1300-1315 hours on the 27th June 2011 by PS Goddard and Insp Judson. No issues encountered.</p> <p>Area patrolled by PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Sharon Bailie on Tuesday 28th June 2011, between the hours of 20:05 and 20:30. Attention was paid to Shilton industrial estate, Shilton Village and Top Road, Barnacle. No issues during this patrol.</p> <p> PCSO Sharon Bailie conducted patrols of Barnacle, Shilton and Ansty from 19.50 hours till 20.25 hours on 29th June 2011. No concerns during this patrol.</p> <p>PC 1879 Cree patrolled Ansty and Shilton between 10:30am and 12:40pm on Thursday 30th June 2011 - no issues during this patrol.</p> <p><b>July:</b></p> <p>PCSO Havelock and PC Cree patrolled Shilton and Barnacle including a visit on the site at Top Road Barnacle. No issues during this patrol carried out at 14.40 until 15:20 on Friday 8th July 2011.</p> <p>PC 1879 CREE conducted patrols throughout late shift on Wednesday 13th July 2011 of Shilton and Ansty with no issues to report.</p> <p>Patrols were conducted by PCSO Havelock on Friday 15th July 2011 in Shilton and Ansty between the hours of 16:09 and 18:00 and later at 20:15. No issues during the patrols. PCSO Havelock spoke with 7 youths on the playing field, Ansty that were near the entrance. Reports that the play equipment had been damaged over the weekend.</p> <p>PC 1879 CREE patrolled SHILTON and BARNACLE on Monday 18th July 2011 between 14:30 hours and 15:15 hours. No issues. Couple of vehicles checked through the police national computer - all in order.</p> <p>PCSO Havelock patrolled the villages of Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle between the hours of 16:45 until 17:15 on the 18th July 2011. No issues during this patrol. Ansty park was empty, Shilton park 4 youths supervised by parent and parked on Top Road barnacle for 10 minutes no issues.</p> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock patrolled the villages of Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle on 19th July 2011. Ansty was patrolled between 19:40 and 20:20. Patrolled around the village and the playing field area after attending the Parish Council meeting. Then patrolled Shilton Village including the Playing Field and Charles Lakin Close. Finished the patrol in the village of Barnacle between the hours of 20:40 and 21:00 hours. Spoke with local youths, no issues.</p> <p>PCSO Sharon Bailie conducted patrols of Barnacle, Shilton and Ansty from 8.15pm till 8.45pm. No issues during patrols on 23rd July 2011.</p> <p>Patrols were (including playing field), Barnacle (including Top Road) and Ansty (including the playing field). No issues during this patrol. A further patrol was conducted in Barnacle, Shilton and Ansty to the same locations between 20:35 and 21:00 hours, No ASB to report during this patrol.</p> <p>Patrols were conducted by PCSO Matt Havelock on Wednesday 27th July 2011 between 19:37 and 20:25 in Shilton, Barnacle and Ansty. Patrol included visit's to the travellers site, Top Road, Barnacle, asked children to stop playing in road near to the bend, politely moved on without any issues. Patrol also visited the playing field, Ansty, no one on the playing field.</p> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock was on Wood Lane, Shilton offering reassurance after a spate of shed break ins. Times of patrols were 09:00 until 11:00 hours and later at 14:15 until 15:15 on Friday 29th July 2011. No issues.</p> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock was in the village of Ansty leaflet dropping for the Mobile Police Station visit to the village, on Saturday 30th July 2011 between 14:20 and 16:14. No issues during this patrol. <p><b>August:</b></p> <p>Foot patrols were conducted By PCSO Havelock and PC Cree on Tuesday 2nd August 2011 between 14:00 and 15:15. Reported fly tipping that was collected the same day from Top Road, Barnacle. No other issues.</p> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Simon Holland attended Shilton and Barnacle on Wednesday 04th August 2011. The patrol included patrols around the village including a visit to the travellers site, Top Road, Barnacle. No issues during this patrol.</p> <p>PC CREE conducted patrols through Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle during course of shift on Monday 8th August 2011 with no issues to report. <p>PCSO Baillie patrolled Shilton and Barnacle with no issues from 19.35hr till 19.40hrs. Whilst patrolling through Ansty at 19.55hrs saw a group of youths in a vehicle which raised suspicions. No further issues <p>Patrols were conducted by PCSO Matt Havelock on Thursday 25th August 2011 between the hours of 19:50 and 21:00 in the villages of Ansty, Shilton and Barnacle. Young birthday party at the Ansty Club but detained inside. Two vehicles in the Shilton car park but moved on. Community Priority - Speeding, Lilbourne Road, Clifton upon Dunsmore - Set 16th June 2011
<p><b>It was highlighted at the recent Community Forum that local residents are concerned about the speed of traffic through the village of Clifton Upon Dunsmore. The Safer Neighbourhood Team has pledged to carry out a minimum of 5 patrols on the Lilbourne Road to deter and detect speeding motorist.</b></p>
Actions to be taken: <p><b>July:</b></p> <p>PC Giustine Cree and PCSO Matt Havelock have completed speed checks using a hand held speed gun on Saturday 9th July 2011 between 10:45am and 11:45am. Words of warning were given to a driver for driving at 35mph in a 30mph area. A Vehicle Defect Retification Scheme was issued to one driver for a defective brake light and a £60 fixed penalty notice was issued to a adult passenger for not wearing a seatbelt.</p> <p>On Monday 11th July 2011 PC Giustine Cree and PCSO Sharon Bailie conducted a handheld speed gun operation. Officers conducted checks between 3.25pm and 4.00pm and no speeding vehicles were detected.</p> <p>Hand held speed gun checks were carried out by PCSO Havelock and PC Cree on Wednesday 13th July 2011 between 3.15pm and 3.45pm. One driver was given words of warning for driving at 34mph in a 30mph area and a £60 fixed penalty notice was issued to a driver for not wearing a seatbelt.</p> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Lauren DeWet conducted speed checks on Friday 15th July between 7.10pm and 7.40pm. One motorist was doing 36mph in the 30mph area, 50 vehicles were checked during this time.</p> <p><b>August:</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks have been carried out using the hand held speed gun on Wednesday 17th August 2011 from 10.15am till 10.55am by PCSO Bailie and PCSO Taylor. A total of 60 cars pasted during this time with no concerns for speeding all cars were travelling between 17mph to 30mph. <p> <p><b>September:</p></b> <p>On Friday 2nd September 2011 speed gun checks were carried out on the Lilbourne Road by PCSO's Bailie and Havelock from 9.25am till 10.00am. A total of 106 vehicles entered the village and 76 vehicles have left the village. A total of 5 vehicles were travelling over the 30 mph speed limit and were sent warning letters asking them to modify their driving behaviour and to comply with the all speed limits in the future.

Actions to be taken: <p><b>June:</p></b> <p>PC Cree and PS Love have conducted speed checks using a hand held speed gun on Church Hill, Wolvey on Wednesday 22nd June 2011. Four drivers were issued with cautions for speeding in a 30mph area 1 driver is being reported to court for driving at 47mph in a 30mph area. <p><b>July:</p></b> <p>PC Giustine Cree and PCSO Matt Havelock have conducted speed checks using hand held speed gun on Saturday 9th July 2011 at Church Hill, Wolvey between 12.25pm and 1.10pm. Words of advice and a warning has been given to one driver for driving at 34mph in a 30mph area. Words of advice and a warning were also given to one driver for driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone. Also a £60 and 3 points endorsable fixed penalty notice was issued to one driver who was driving at 38mph in a 30mph area.</p> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Craig Holland conducted speed checks on Monday 18th July between 7.50pm and 8.20pm, twenty three vehicles were checked during this time.</p> <p><b>August:</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on Wednesday 17th August 2011 from 1.50pm till 2.25pm by PCSO Sharon Bailie and PCSO Tom McSherry. A total of 158 cars pasted during this time travelling between 23mph to 30mph a total 6 cars did past through travelling between 30mph and 36mph. <p>On Wednesday 24th August 2011 PC Cree and PCSO Bailie have conducted speed checks using a hand held speed gun. Four drivers were given words of advice for driving at 35mph in a 30mph area. One driver was issued with an endorsable FPN (Fixed Penalty Notice)for £60 and 3 points were put on his licence for driving at 37mph. <p><b>September:</p></b> <p>PCSO's Bailie and McSheffery carried out speed gun checks on 31st August 2011 from 5.00pm till 5.30pm a total of 100 vehicles pasted us leaving the village with 7 vehicles exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Warning letters have been sent to the motorists. <p>On Friday 2nd September 2011 PC Cree, PCSO Bailie and PCSO Havelock have conducted speed checks using a handheld speedgun at Church Hill, Woley between 2.20pm and 3.00pm. One driver was issued with an endorsable Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) for 3 points and £60 for driving at 40 mph in a 30 mph area and another driver was issued with an endorsable FPN for 3 points and £60 for driving at 41 mph in a 30 mph area. A further 6 letters were forwarded on to other speeding motorists asking them to modify their driving behaviour and to comply with all speed limits in the future.

Community Priority - Patrols of Coton Park - Set 29th September 2011
<p><b>It was highlighted at the Community Forum that there has been an increase in incidents reported to the police in this area recently. So the Safer Neighbourhood Team have pledged to carry out a minimum of 15 high visibility patrols in the Coton Park area with a view to deterring and detecting offences of criminal damage, and the illegal and anti-social use of mini motos.</p></b>

At 4.40am we had a call about a male acting suspiciously on Lancut Hill going up and down peoples drives, officers did attend but there was no trace of the male but they did find a golf club that he had been carrying. <p>Patrols have been carried out on Monday 31st October from 7.00pm till 7.30pm till 8.55pm at 8.00pm two males were stop checked with no concerns. <p><b>November</p></b> <p>Patrols have been carried out on Tuesday 1st November from 4.00am till 4.30am. <p>Patrols have been carrried out on Wednesday 2nd November from 3.20am till 3.45am and 5.15pm and 5.50pm. <p>Five patrols have been carried out on Thursday 3rd November from 3.30pm till 5.30pm with no concerns then again from 12.40am till 4.40pm. Actions to be taken: <p><b>September</p></b> <p> Speed checks were conducted on Friday 30th September 2011 at 14:26 until 14:46. These were conducted by PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Ken Wyer 6088. Two motorists speeding, one doing 36MPH in a 30MPH. Also a vehicle doing 44MPH in a 30MPH area. <p><b>October</p></b> <p> Speed checks were conducted on Tuesday 04th October 2011 at 11:20 until 11:45. These were conducted by PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Ken Wyer 6088. Two motorists speeding, one doing 36MPH in a 30MPH. Also a vehicle doing 38MPH in a 30MPH area. <p> Speed checks were conducted by PC Cree and PCSO Havelock on Thursday 6th October 2011 between 16:20 and 17:30. Three Fixed penalty notices were issued. Two motorists were doing 39MPH in the 30 and one motorist doing 38MPH in a 30MPH. <p> PCSO Havelock and PC Cree done speed checks in Shilton on Sunday 23rd October 2011 between 15:25 and 16:20. Two vehicles over the speed limit. First motorist doing a 38MPH in a 30MPH, Fixed penalty notice issued. Second vehicle was driving at 40MPH in a 30MPH also a fixed penalty notice issued. This consists of a 60 pound fine and three penalty points. <p> <p><b>November</p></b> Speed checks were conducted on Thursday 10th November 2011 at 15:29 until 16:05. These were conducted by PCSO Matt Havelock and PC Giustine Cree 1879. Three motorists speeding during speed check and one vehicle defect notice, these are as follows:- <p>-Vehicle one was doing 36MPH in a 30MPH - warning given to motorists. <p>-Vehicle two was 39MPH in a 30MPH - Fixed Penalty Notice issued (3 points and £60 fine) <p>-Vehicle three was 44MPH in a 30MPH - Fixed Penalty Notice issued (3 points and £60 fine) <p>One Vehicle Defect Rectification Scheme ticket issued to a motorist for a defect number plate.

Community Priority - Parking around the area of Clifton upon Dunsmore C of E Primary School, Station Road, Clifton - Set 29th September 2011
<p><b>It was hightlighted at a previous Community Forum that local residents are concerned about the parking situation around Clifton upon Dunsmore C of E Primary School. The Safer Neighbourhood Team have pledged to carry out a minimum of 5 high visibility patrols around Clifton upon Dunsmore C of E Primary School, Station Road, clifton, with a view to deterring and detecting parking offences, between 08.45 and 09.15, and again between 15.00 to 15.30, Monday to Friday.</p></b>
Actions to be taken: <p><b>October</p></b> <p>On Tuesday 4th October PC Cree gave words of warning to two drivers for the manning of their parking and one motorists was given a £30.00 Fixed Penalty Notice for parking on the junction of Main Street and North Road. <p>PCSO Bailie attend a meeting on North Road on Friday 7th October regarding the parking around the school. One driver was later asked to move their vehicle for partially blocking a driveway. <p>On Friday 14th October 3 warning notices were issued to drives of 3 vehicles parked on the junction of Shuttleworth Road and South Road. <p>On Thursday 20th October patrols were carried out around the school from 8.30am till 9.10am with no concerns about parking vehicles. <p><b>November</p></b> <p>Patrols were carried out around the school on Tuesday 1st November from 3.00pm till 3.20pm with no issues raised about parking vehicles. <p>Patrols were carried out around the school on Wednesday 9th November from 3.00pm till 3.30pm one motorist was asked to move on for parking their vehicle on the junction of South Road and Main Street. <p>Patrols were carried out on Wednesday 23rd November from 3.00pm till 3.30pm, two warnings were given to motorists for parking their vehicles to close to the junction of Shuttleworth Road and South Road and one motorist was moved on for trying to park of the junction of Main Street and North Road.

It was hightlight at the recent Community Forum meeting that local residents were concerned about the speed of traffic through the village of Easenhall. The Safer Neighbourhood Team have pledged to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations, with a view to deterring and detecting speeding offences on Main Street, Easenhall.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>December</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 2nd December 2011 from 4.00pm till 4.15pm with 22 cars passing us during this time, with no speeding concerns. (we had to finish early due to lack of daylight) <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 16th December 2011 form 2.20pm till 2.53pm with a total of 77 cars passing us during this time, five cars were travelling between 33mph and 37mph, all drivers were sent warning letters on the manner of their driving. <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 21st December 2011 form 10.30am till 11.15am a total of 58 cars pasted us during this time, one motorist was given a caution of travelling at 33mph. <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 24th December 2011 from 2.30pm till 3.00pm with no vehicles travelling over 30mph. <p><b>January</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on 6th January 2012 from 1.45pm till 2.15pm, a total of 41 vehicles left the village and 28 vehicles entered the village during this time. 8 vehicles were travelling between 30mph and 33mph and 2 vehicles were travelling at 34mph and one pasted the speed gun at 38mph. Warning letters were sent to motorists for travelling over 33mph. <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on Monday 16th January 2012 from 2.35pm till 3.10pm, words of advice were given to one motorist for travelling at 33mph. <p><b>February</p></b> <p>

Actions to be taken: <p><b>December</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 2nd December 2011 from 3.25pm till 3.50pm a total of 48 cars pasted us during this time, with no speeding concerns. <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on 21st December 2011 from 11.15am till 11.50am with a total of 133 cars passing us during this time with no vehicles exceeding the speed limit during this time. <p><b>February</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 1st February 2012 from 12.00pm till 12.30pm. A total of 56 vehicles entered the village from the Rugby end and 47 vehicles left the village, 3 vehicles were travelling between 30mph and 33mph and one vehicle was travelling at 37mph a warning letter was forwarded to this driver regarding the manner of his driving. <p>Speed gun patrols were carried out on the 7th February 2012 from 3.38pm till 4.10pm. A total of 48 cars entered the village from Rugby and 53 cars left the village, with no vehicles exceeding the 30mph speed limit. <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 8th February 2012 from 9.55am till 10.25am with a total of 56 vehicles entering the village from the Pailton end and 33 vehicles entered from the Rugby end. 3 vehicles were travelling between 30mph and 33mph, no other vehicles exceeded the 30mph speed limit.

Community Priority - Speeding on Brockhurst Lane and Main Street, Monks Kirby - Set 1st December 2011
It was hightlight at the recent Community Forum meeting that local residents were concerned about the speed of traffic through the village of Monks Kirby. The Safer Neighbourhood Team have pledged to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations to concentrate around school times in the morning from 8.30am till 9.30am and 3.00pm till 4.00pm, with a view to deterring and detecting speeding offences going to and from the school in the village.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>December</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on the 12th December 2011 from 3.00pm till 3.40pm. Three motorists were travelling at 26mph, two motorists were travelling at 26mph and one motorist was travelling at 29mph. Warning letters were sent to drivers regarding the manner of their driving. The speed limit in this area is 20mph. <p><b>January</p></b> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Sharon Bailie attended Brockhurst Lane, Monks Kirby on Friday 06th January 2011 between 08:35am and 09:07am. Seven Motorists above the speed limit. Two doing 25MPH, two doing 26MPH, two doing 27MPH and one doing 32 all in a 20 MPH area. All motorists were sent warning letters regarding their speed in the village. <p>Speed checks were carried out on Friday 13th January 2012 between 08:35am and 09:00am hours by PCSO Matt Havelock and PCSO Ken Wyer. Four motorists speeding during this time. Three doing 30 MPH and one doing 26 MPH in a 20 MPH area. warnign letters will be sent out to all motorists. <p>PC Giustine Cree and PCSO Sharon Bailie conducted speed checks on Monday 16th January 2012 between 3:30pm and 3:50pm hours. No speeding vehicles were detected during this patrol. <p>PC Giustine Cree and PCSO Matt Havelock conducted speed checks on Tuesday 24th January 2012, between 15:10 hours and 15:40 hours. Two drivers were given words of advice for driving at 26mph and 27mph respectively, in a 20mph zone.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team have pledged to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations, with a view to deterring and detecting speeding offences on Leicester Road, Shilton.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>March</p></b> <p>PCSO Matt Havelock and PC Giustine Cree conducted speed checks on Leicester Road, Shilton on Friday 9th March 2012 between 3.45pm and 4.55pm. The first motorist stopped was doing 40mph in a 30mph and was also found in possesion of Cannabis. The second vehicle was travelling at 40mph in a 30mph zone. The third vehicle stopped was registered doing 39mph in a 30mph zone. <p>On Thursday 29th March 2012 speed gun checks were carried out on Leicester Road, Shilton, between 2.26pm and 2.42pm. 5 vehicles were detected speeding between 38mph and 41mph. Letters of warning were sent to registered keepers of offending vehicles. <p>On Friday 30th March 2012, PC Cree and PCSO Havelock conducted speed checks on Leicester Rd, Shilton, between of 4.18pm and 4.55pm. Words of warning were given to three motorists travelling at speeds of 35-37mph in a 30mph zone. One EFPN was issued to a motorist travelling at 42mph in a 30mph area. <p><b>April</p></b> <p>On Sunday 8th April 2012, PC Cree and PCSO Havelock conducted hi visibility speed checks on Leicester Road, Shilton, using a hand held speed gun, between 4.40pm and 5.10pm. Traffic was light. Two vehicles passed by doing speeds of 32-34mph. One vehicle was stopped, EFPN notice issued to driver doing 38mph in the 30mph limit. <p>PCSO Havelock, PC Cree, PC Taylor and PCSO Wyer conducted speed checks on Leicester Road, Shilton between 2.05pm and 2.30pm. One motorist was given a fixed penalty for doing 39mph in a 30mph area. <p>On Thursday 19th April 2012, between 2.15pm and 2.55pm speed gun checks were carried out. 1 vehicle was issued with a FPN for doing 38mph in a 30mph zone.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team have pledged to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations, with a view to deterring and detecting speeding offences on Rugby Road and Main Street, Clifton Upon Dunsmore.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>March</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on Friday 9th March 2012 from 9.50am till 10.22am on the Rugby Road. A total of 48 vehicles left the village and 44 vehicles entered the village from the Rugby end. One vehicle was travelling at 32mph all the others were travelling below 30mph. <p>Speed gun checks were completed Friday 30th March 2012 on the Rugby Road from 10.10am till 10.42am. A total of 126 vehicles left the village and 106 vehicles entered the village from the Rugby end. No vehicles were exceeding the 30mph speed limit during this time. <p><b>April</p></b> <p>On Sunday 8th April 2012, PC Cree and PCSO Havelock, conducted hi visibility speed checks on Main Street, Clifton, using a hand held speed gun, between the hours of 3.15pm and 3.40pm. Traffic was light and no speeding motorists were detected. <p>Speed gun checks were carried out from 10.13am till 10.50am on Wednesday 11th April 2012. A total of 142 vehicles left the village and 103 vehicles entered the village from the Rugby direction. 4 vehicles were exceeding the 30mph speed limit, with vehicles travelling at 35, 36 and 38mph, warning letters were sent to motorists exceeding the speed limit. <p>Hand held speed gun checks were carried out on Rugby Road, Clifton from 11.12am till 11.43am on Friday 20th April 2012. One vehicle was travelling at 36mph and was sent a warning letter, all other vehicles were travelling below the 30mph speed limit. A total of 138 vehicles left the village and 77 vehicles entered from the Rugby direction. <p><b>May</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out from 9.30am till 10.20am on Friday 24th May 2012. Approximately 276 vehicles left the village entering Rugby and 145 vehicles have entered the village from the Rugby direction. 6 vehicles were travelling over 33 mph, 3 vehicles were travelling at 34mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 36mph, 1 at 39mph and 1 vehicle was travelling at 46mph. All of the speeding vehicles were sent warning letters regarding their driving. <p><b>June</p></b>

Community Priority - Deterring Auto Crime on the A5 and surrounding villages - Set 1st March 2012
To carry out a minimum of 15 high visibility patrols on the A5 between Gibbetts Cross Service Station and Clifton Upon Dunsmore, and including the villages of Churchover, Newton and Clifton, with a view to deterring and detecting auto-crime offences.

Actions to be taken: <p><b>June</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on 27/06/2012 from 11.35am till 12.05pm, a total a of 48 vehicles entered the village from Pailton and 32 vehicles left the village. During this time 3 vehicles were travelling at 33mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 34mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 35mph and one vehicle was travelling 37mph. All speeding vehicles will be sent warning letters regarding the manner of their speeding. <p><b>July</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on 31/07/2012 from 4.10pm till 4.45pm, approximately 108 vehicles left the village heading towards Pailton and 77 vehicles entered the village. During this time 2 vehicles were travelling at 31mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 32mph. 1 vehicle travelled at 33mph and 1 vehicle was travelling at 35mph. 2 drivers will be sent warning letters regarding their speeding through the village. <p><b>August</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on 01/08/2012 from 5.15pm till 5.55pm. Approx 113 vehicles entered the village from the Rugby direction and 77 vehicles left the village. During this time vehicles that exceeded the 30mph speed limit were, 4 travelling at 31mph, 3 at 32mph, 1 at 33mph, 3 at 34mph, 1 at 35mph, 4 at 36mph, 1 at 38mph, 1 at 39mph and 1 at 41mph. 12 warning letters were sent out to drivers regarding their speeding through the village. <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 10/08/2012 from 5.15pm till 6.00pm. Approximately 86 vehicles left the village heading towards Pailton and 55 vehicles entered the village. Vehicles exceeding the 30mph speed limit, were 1x31, 4x32mph, 1x33mph, 2x34mph, 6x35mph, 2x37mph, 1x40mph, 1x41mph, 1x44mph and 1x46mph. 15 warning letters were sent out to motorists travelling at 33mph and above. <p>Speed gun checks were completed on Friday 24/08/2012 from 2.50pm till 3.25pm. Approximately 73 vehicles left the village entering Pailton and 60 vehicles entered the village. 1 x vehicle travelled at 32mph, 1 x vehicle travelled at 33mph, 2 x vehicles travelled at 34mph and 2 x vehicles travelled at 38mph. 5 warning letters were sent out to owners of vehicles exceeding the speed limit.

Community Priority - Speeding on Church Hill, Wolvey - Set 21st June 2012
The safer neighbourhood team pledge to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations, with a view to deterring and detecting speeding offences on Church Hill, Wolvey.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>June</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 27/06/2012 from 2.20pm till 2.55pm. Approximately 96 vehicles entered the village and 77 vehicles left the village. During this time 5 vehicles travelled at 33mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 35mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 38mph and 1 vehicle travelled at 42mph. All speeding motorist will be sent warning letters regarding the manner or their speeding. <p><b>July</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 18/07/2012 from 10.50am till 11.20am. Approximately 83 vehicles entered the village and 74 vehicles left the village. During this time 4 vehicles were travelling at 31mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 32mph and 1 vehicle travelled at 33mph. <p><b>August</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 01/08/2012 from 16.17hrs till 16.55hrs. Approximately 153 vehicles entered the village and 165 vehicles left the village. During this time 8 vehicles travelled at 31mph, 8 vehicles travelled at 32mph, 4 vehicles travelled at 33mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 35mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 36mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 37mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 39mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 40mph and 1 vehicle travelled at 46mph. 12 Warning letters were sent out regarding the speed and manner of the way drivers were exceeding the speed. <p>Speed gun checks were completed on the 10/08/2012 from 4.03pm till 4.50pm. Approximately 219 vehicles left the village heading towards Temple Hill and 200 vehicles entered the village. Vehicles exceeding the 30mph. 2x31mph, 1x32mph, 3x33mph, 3x34mph, 4x35mph, 1x39mph. 11 warning letters were sent out to motorist travelling at 33mph and above. <p>Speed gun checks were completed on Friday 24/08/2012 from 1.50pm till 2.20pm. Approximately 101 vehicles entered the village from Temple Hill and 99 vehicles left the village. Vehicles exceeding the 30mph, 3 x 33mph, 2 x 34mph, 2 x 35mph, 3 x 36mph, 2 x 37mph, 1 x 38mph, 1 x 41mph and 1 x 44mph. 15 warning letters were sent out to motorist exceeding the 30mph speed limit.

Community Priority - Anti-social behaviour on the Coton Park Estate - Set 13th September 2012
Recently there has been an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) on the Coton Park Estate and the safer neighbourhood team will pledge to carry out a minimum of 15 targeted high visible patrols with a view to detecting and deterring offences of ASB, between the hours of 9.00pm and midnight.

The safer neighbourhood team pledge to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations with a view to deterring and detecting speeding offences on Rugby Road, Clifton upon Dunsmore.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>September</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were completed on the 25th September 2012 from 5.03pm till 5.31pm, approximately 290 vehicles entered the village from Rugby and 61 vehicles left the village. One vehicle travelled at 31mph, one vehicle travelled at 34mph and one vehicle travelled at 33mph. Two warning letters were sent out to motorists regarding there driving. <p><b>October</p></b> <p>Together with Clifton Community Speed Watch on 6th October 2012 we completed checks from 4.00pm till 5.00pm. 1 vehicle travelled at 31mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 32mph, 2 vehicles travelled at 33mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 34mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 35mph, 1 vehicle travelled at 36mph and 1 vehicle travelled at 37mph. 5 warning letters were sent out to motorists exceeding 33mph and above. <p>Speed gun checks have been completed on the 10th October 2012 from 2.35pm till 3.11pm. Approximately 153 vehicles entered the village from Rugby and 124 vehicles left the village heading towards Rugby. Vehicles exceeding 30mph, 5 x 31mph, 3 x 32mph, 2 x 33mph, 3 x 34mph, 3 x 35pm, 1 x 36mph. 8 warning letters were sent out regarding this speeding operation. <p>Speed check completed were completed on 16th October 2012 from 4.20pm to 5.25pm. Vehicles recorded as exceeding 33mph include: 1 x 33mph, 2 x 34mph, 2 x 35mph, 4 x 36mph, 1 x 37mph and 1 x 41mph. 4 drivers were stopped, vehicle and license details checked and given verbal warnings. 1 driver was given an EFPN. 7 warning letters were sent to the other drivers travelling at 33mph and above. <p><b>November</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks have been completed on 03/11/2012 between 4.29pm and 4.55pm. Only three vehicles recorded as travelling at 33mph or over: 1 x 33mph, 1 x 34mph and 1 x 36mph. Vehicle travelling at 36mph flagged down but failed to stop, NIP to be served. <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 07/11/2012 from 2.10pm till 2.55pm. 2 x vehicles travelled at 36 mph, 1 x vehicle travelled at 37mph and 1 x vehicle travelled at 38mph. 2 drivers were spoken to by PC Newton regarding the speed of their driving and the other two were sent warning letters regarding the manner of their driving. Two other warning letters were sent out to motorists regarding the speeding op on 03/11/2012.

New Community Priority - Burglary Dwelling on the Fosseway, B4455 and Coventry Road, B4027, covering the villages of Brinklow, Monks Kirby, Stretton under Fosse and Pailton - Set 13th September 2012

Community Priority - Parking around Monks Kirby School - Monks Kirby - Set 22nd November 2012
The Safer Neighbourhood Police Team pledge to carry out a minimum of 15 high visibility patrols with a view to deterring and detecting offences of obstruction around Monks Kirby School, Brockhurst Lane, Monks Kirby.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>December</p></b> <p> PCSO Havelock and PC Newton conducted school patrols on Wednesday 5th December 2012 between 2.45pm and 3.15pm. Numerous parents were spoken to and two vehicles were asked to move. We also spoke to some of the mini cab drivers and have suggested if we could get the school playground opened up just for them as this would relieve some of the parking issues. The Deputy head was spoken to about this suggestion and we are awaiting their reply. <p>PCSO Havelock conducted school patrols on Thursday 6th December 2012 between 8.50am and 9.05am, one parent was advised about his parking. <p>PC Newton and PCSO Havelock conducted school patrols on Wednesday 12th December 2012 between 2.30pm and 3.15pm, 9 vehicles were warned about their parking and we learnt that the school now opens the playground for the school taxi's. <p>PCSO Havelock conducted patrols on Thursday 13th December 2012. No vehicles were warned between the hours of 8.55am and 9.15am. <p>PCSO Havelock conducted school patrols and also monitored parking for a large funeral on Wednesday 19th December 2012. Vehicles wer warned about inappropriate parking. Parents were coming to me saying the parking as been so much better. <p><b>January 2013</p></b> <p>PCSO Havelock and PCSO Wyer conducted patrols on Tuesday 15th January 2013 in the Village of Monks Kirby between 2.50pm and 3.40pm. The driver of a van was spoken to about their speed and two vehicles were moved from the Junction of Busby's Piece. <p>PCSO Matt Havelock attended Monks Kirby School on Wednesday 16th January 2013 between 8.39am and 9.10am, there were no issues during this patrol. <p>PCSO Matt Havelock and PC Vicki Newton conducted school patrols on Wednesday 29th January 2013 between 15:00 and 15:30 hours. No issues to report. <p><b>February 2013</p></b> <p>PCSO Havelock and PC Newton conducted school patrols in Monks Kirby on Wednesday 6th Feburary 2013. No issues. <p>Patrols were completed on 07/03/2012 between 14.50 and 15.20 hours. No issues to report. <p>PCSO Havelock and PC Newton attended the school on Friday 15th February 2013. Road Safety lessons were given to all pupils through out the day. They also launched the Road Safety Poster competition. PCSO Havelock has been able to get funds for them to be printed on official signs. <p>Patrols were conducted on Tuesday 26th February 2013 between 14:00 and 15:30 by PCSO Havelock. No issues and motorists and residents who spoke to me were thankful for the worked carried out. <p>Patrols conducted by PCSO Havelock on Wednesday 27th February 2013. No issues and again a lot of parents stopped to speak about how much better it is. <p><b>March 2013</p></b> <p>Patrols were carried on the 07/03/2013 alot of vehicles in the vacinity due to assembly at the school. Three offending vehicles issued with NEFPN. Again positive feedback received from parents and residents of Monks Kirby. <p>PCSO Havelock and PCSO Winfield conducted school patrols on Tuesday 12th March 2013 between 14:50 and 15:30. No issues during this patrol.

Community Priority - Speeding Leicester Road - Shilton - Set 22nd November 2012
The Safer Neighbourhood Team pledge to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations with a view to deterring and detecting offences of speeding in Leicester Road, Shilton.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>November</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks have been carried out on the Leicester Road, Shilton on Friday 23rd November 2012 between 09:13am and 09:43am. 1 vehicle was monitored over 43mph in a 30mph, a speed warning letter was sent to the owner of the vehicle. <p><b>December</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks have been carried out on Thursday 14th December 2012. One vehicle was stopped for doing 43mph in a 30mph. The vehicle was checked by PC Newton and it was found that the driver was not insured to drive the vehicle and they were reported for this offence. <p><b>January 2013</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were carried out on Leicester Road, Shilton on Thursday 24th January 2013. No vehicles have been caught above the 30mph speed limit. this was conducted between 12.14pm and 12.34pm. <p>Speed checks were carried out on Leicester Road, Shilton on Sunday 27th January 2013. On motorists given a Section 59 and three motorists were sent speed warning letters. <p><b>February 2013</p></b> Speed checks were carried out 07/02/13 today between 12.00pm and 12.30pm. Only one vehicle recorded as travelling at 35 mph. Letter will be sent to H/A as vehicle did not stop when instructed to do so. <p><b>March 2013</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 05/03/13 between 3.25pm and 4pm. 1 x vehicle recorded at 36mph (warning letter will be sent out) and 1 x vehicle recorded at 40mph, EFPN issued to driver.

Community Priority - Speeding Church Hill - Wolvey - Set 22nd November 2012
The Safer Neighbourhood Team pledge to carry out a minimum of 5 speed detection operations with a view to deterring and detecting offences of speeding on Church Hill, Wolvey.
Actions to be taken: <p><b>November</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 28/11/12 from 11.35am till 12.15pm. A total of 106 vehicles left the village heading towards the M69 and 72 vehicles entered the village. Vehicles exceeding the 30mph limit were. 31mph x 1, 32mph x 4, 33mph x 2, 34mph x 1, 35mph x 2 and 38mph x 1. Six warning letters were sent out reference this operation to motorists regarding the manner of their driving. <p><b>December</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks have been completed on 13/12/2012 from 3.35pm till 4.00pm. Approximately 59 vehicles left the village heading towards the M69 and 48 vehicles entered the village. Two vehicles exceeded the 30mph speed limit, one vehicle was travelling at 35mph and one at 38mph which PC Newton gave a verbal warning to. <p><b>January 2013</p></b> <p>Speed gun checks have been completed on 09/01/2013 from 12.13pm till 1.00pm. Approximately 106 vehicles have entered the village from the M69 direction and 79 vehicles have left the village. Vehicles exceeding the 30mph were, 31mph x 6, 32mph x3, 33mph x 2, 35mph x 3, 36mph x 2, 37mph x 1, 38mph x 1, 40mph x 1 and 43mph x 1. Ten warning letters were sent out reference the speeding operation to people regarding the manner of their driving through this area. <p><b>February 2013</p></b> <p>Speeding checks were completed on 01/02/13 from 11.17am till 12.00hrs approximately 140 vehicles have left the village heading towards the M69 and 137 vehicles have left the village. Vehicles exceeding the 30mph speed limit were 2 x 34mph, 2 x 35mph, 1 x 37mph, 1 x 38mph, 1 x 39mph and 1 x 43mph. Eight warning letters were sent out to motorists ref this speeding operation. <p>Speed gun checks were completed on 14/02/13 from 4.15pm till 4.55pm. Approximately 154 vehicles entered the village from Temple Hill and 212 vehicles left the village heading towards Temple Hill, vehicles exceeding 30mph were 3 x 33mph, 1 x 34mph, 1 x 35mph, 1 x 37mph, 2 x 38mph, 1 x 39mph, warning letters will be sent out. Seven warning letters were sent out reference this speeding operation.
