Residents are concerned with traffic speeding along Coal Pitt Lane in both directions.
The Rural SNT team are currently looking at in listing the help of the ANPR team in order to monitor the speeding in the area. We are also looking at having all of the rural teams staff trained on a mobile speed gun to help with issues across the rural area. Police officers will also be trained on the ANPR system to enable regular use of the ANPR system in order to improve the traffic issues in the area.
