The Rugby Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team would like remind residents in the rural area to remain vigilent when securing their properties and answering the door to strangers.

The area of Dunchurch and Leam Valley has suffered with an increase in burglaries in the month of January this year.

The team would like to remind residents to remove any opportunities for potential thieves by removing any valuable objects on display, locking doors and windows and being aware of who they are answering the door to.
