Areas of Long Lawford are now subject to a dispersal order effective from Saturday 8th September 2007.

This covers the shops and garages on Holbrook Road, Thomas Way community centre, the bus stop on Townsend Lane and the Co-op on Townsend Lane.

The dispersal order is in effect from 18:00hrs to 01:00hrs from 8th September 2007.

The order is designed to prevent groups of people gathering and causing disturbance to the annoyance to residents. It is also intended to prevent harassment, alarm and distress to the local community by limiting numbers of people gathering in certain areas.
